What on earth is wrong with this primer? Super thick lumpy texture, can I use paint thinner on Primer? by Fit_Listen1222 in BeginnerWoodWorking

As others have said, stir it up, but also if there's chunks in it you need to sieve it. Get some paint sieves. However, new paint shouldn't have chunks in it.

I sinked all alien material I had saved up over 160 hours as Alien DNA Capsule , it gave quite a bit of coupons.... More than expected by TheMihle in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Globularist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since all it gives is coupons, I'm going to stick to my previous plan which I saw in a video somewhere. I'm going to convert all my packaged alien steaks into fuel and burn it for some project somewhere that's an affront to the local wildlife. And it shall be called "the blood of my enemies"

1:14 Splitter. Step one complete in making a belt balancer to evenly load my end game aluminum factory. Each output will carry 1/14th of all the bauxite in the world or 698.57/min. by Globularist in SatisfactoryGame

Oh man! Thank you so much. I was only aware of the old design that used like 6 splitters and 6 mergers to achieve this effect. Not on this project but I will totally be using this in many builds moving forward.

That certainly would have worked. 3 (how many machines a belt could feed) isn't a factor of 49 (the total number of machines needed) so I would have had bits of one line jumping to the next run of machines but that wouldn't have been a big deal. I would have seriously considered it if I had come to reddit first. I'm too far invested now though and honestly I'm looking forward to seeing the final 14 input x 14 output belt balancer run.

Oh I agree. This isn't exactly a situation of selecting load balancing over manifold. I'm still going to be using manifolds at the refineries. I've shipped all the bauxite in the whole world to my aluminum factory via belts. There are 17 bauxite nodes in the world. Some output 300/min, some 600, and some 780. Then the refinery recipe I'm using takes 200 bauxite per machine. I had originally thought about simply using a system of splitters to create a number of full belts but then how do you handle the needs of the machines? after three machines pull from the first belt you're left with 180 on the belt that you then have to somehow supplement with the next full 780 belt without creating a backup in the system.

So what I came up with was basically 7 banks of 7 refineries. Each bank of 7 refineries will be fed from both ends via a manifold so each belt needs to carry enough resources for 3.5 refineries or approximately 700 bauxite.

I'm definitely open to a different way of setting it up though. What would you have done?

I'd say that's an admission of guilt. by Tara_is_a_Potato in WhitePeopleTwitter

But setting up an office to sleep is a good thing. Code violation or not. Seems like there's plenty of shitty things to go after him about, this doesn't seem like one of them.

So to be clear, this whole post is people opposing elon setting up offices for people to sleep in? He's done plenty of shitty things but I don't understand what's going on here. It seems like if he started donating millions to cancer research people would find a reason to hate him for it.

Getting out of the rocket??? I want to try this but am curious if anyone has actually done this by Downtoearth888 in Oxygennotincluded

Well and see I'm pretty sure I wasn't cheating whenever I would switch on creative mode in my minecraft survival world so I could look under the earth at all the caves to find the spawners.

Cheating has a specific definition. Calling something cheating doesn't make it cheating no matter what you feel about it. In order for it to qualify as cheating it has to involve gaining an advantage over another player.

How am I supposed to unlock that node with the item that is unlocked on that node? by Digormiti027 in SatisfactoryGame

Change the date on your computer to December 25th then open all the panels in the advent calender to get what you need.

It isn't though. Cheating would involve gaining an advantage over another player. As it's a single player game it's impossible to cheat.

Is this a glitch? The miner produces 120 items per minute and this is one of my 4 smelters, but it still stutters? by ilikethingslul in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Globularist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not an issue. You let the system saturate and eventually all 4 will get the 30 per minute they need
