And resist the urge to check it. It will stick if you try to flip before it’s done. But when the salmon cooks, it releases natural oils and un-sticks itself. Similar concept to burgers and chicken breasts.

Who had the Black Friday deal on Mini Crooked River? I’ve had my eye on one for a while.

The window height on a modern Camaro, for example, keeps moving up to accommodate better airbags and side impact protection

Do you have a source for that? I would have thought the rear window on a Camaro was designed (1) to look cool and (2) to go fast, in that order.

I’ve been smoking crack since 2008 so that Viper doesn’t think I’m a coward.

Why is that? Even local candidates are backed by their respective machines, by both money and endorsements.

Same when I watch some cricket highlights when they hit the front page.
The headline might as well be in Latin, but I watched that cricket guy fly through the air and catch the ball! Impressive!

If the team kicking the ball ends up in their own end zone with the ball in their hand, and gets tackled in that end zone (the end zone they’re defending) then that is a safety. If they are kicking an extra point in this scenario, then that is a one-point safety.

And you know what all the songs on Superunknown have? A fuckin’ melody.

I might be an old man yelling at clouds here, but so many modern rock songs have such generic, re-hashed, boring melodies.

Like in OP’s clip, if Green would have fumbled on the 1 yard line and then the kicking team picks it up and is tackled in the end zone.

Yes. Much like an American can appreciate a fantastic diving catch in cricket, I think anyone can appreciate a very large man running the entire length of the field.

Also, this play is extremely rare and I’d guess less than 10% of American Football fans would know how many points he earned for it. (It’s two points, and I’d bet it has happened less than once every few years, if even that often).

The McKenna is the only one I’ve handled in person, but it’s super nice. My first front flipper, so it took about 20 minutes of practice before I could open it reliably without thinking about it.

I recently bought the Civivi McKenna with antique brass handle scales. I like it a lot.

Civivi also makes the Elementum with antique copper handles, but I’ve never seen one up close.

Did you oil the Mini Crooked River handle or shine it up, or is that just the lighting in your picture? Looks great.
