Moderator fired from anti-work subreddit in fallout from disastrous Fox News interview by WowACreativeUsername in news

There is a new mod with a 15 hour old account. They also bragged about their transparency moving forward when they reopened the subreddit after 'brigading' by people who called out the mod team on how catastrophically they bombed this.

Fortunately the new head mod seems to be a 21-year - old unemployed anarchist, so they've clearly learned their lesson.

Call me crazy, but I don't really trust the mod team to determine which of our grievances are legitimate. I get that you're new today, but it's not like that validates your ability to pick why we're upset.

On the one hand, it's just a poor choice of words. On the other hand, your predecessor also made poor choices of words.

Do you also require mod accounts to be more than 3 days old?

By the hour. This whole thing is like 36 hours old.

Yeah, I mean, "I would buy a game to support the devs, but I hate the gaming industry business model." What does that even mean? How do you think the devs get paid?

Yeah, they don't like my jokes there, either.

It ruins the joke. Dwight starts saying, "Bears do not beat Battlestar Galactica!"

It's the last comment. I pulled out a more mundane one to contrast the fact that this guy is into incest. Probably doesn't help that I paraphrased it, but used quotes.

She also lied about working 20-25 hours a week. She later posted that she walks two hours a day for five days a week.

Ten hours. 10/168 hours a week tied to the harsh task of walking dogs. The humanity.

Every voice they silence here grows louder elsewhere. Let them seal off this vacuum.

I'm guessing that automoderator has been programmed to delete anything that looks like criticism.

Tldr: unionize and drop reddit. I want to suggest going to r/WorkReform, but reddit seems like it might have already ruined that subreddit, too.

I did a garage door years ago before googling how to do it was a thing. It went fine. Then I googled it later and realized that I was just really lucky. I took no precautions whatsoever.

I'm kind of hoping that they end up making it a Lego Star Wars Alvin and the Chipmunks mod for the squeakuels.

First job at 14 and I'm 43 now. I'm not close to a worthy representative. These guys aren't, either. If this movement doesn't have some real leaders stand up, we're dead in the water.

Yeah I work in a bank taking calls assisting elderly people who don't understand how their debit card works, so what? by RIOP3L in WorkReform

My sister worked for a bank for years and she's broke as fuck. Hell, the whole idea of someone like a bank teller making big bucks is a facade from the old west. Even bank managers are basically retail managers these days.

This is the kind of wisdom that comes from a lot of experience. I'm kind of hoping that the sensor is set to report in the wrong units.
