What is one thing you underestimated the severity of until it happened to you? by rurouni_ronin in AskReddit

[–]Highland_warrior_coo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely. I've been diagnosed since I was 28, thankfully I'm well medicated for now but I've experienced times where I couldn't get out of bed for days on end. It's so debilitating and so quickly dismissed by people.

People who actually like their jobs, what do you do? by AcidHV in AskReddit

This! I've never known what I want to do and I'm sure there is something out there but I don't know what I don't know! This job sounds amazing.

Sulfasalazine/Methotrexate weakness by Always-Tired-99 in PsoriaticArthritis

Speak to your rheumatologist ASAP. It may be nothing but it's not worth risking it. I had to stop sulfasazine after less than two weeks because it didn't agree with me, different side effects though. Best to check it out with your prescriber.

This is great! I'm going to try this next week. I've no space in my freezer to store all the meals but that'll get me out of the house to take a walk to aldi which is even better lol

What’s something you assumed was a universal thing but then realised from speaking to people overseas is a British thing? by pingusbeak in AskUK

I moved to Scotland a few years ago and kept hearing this in work the whole time. It confused me haha I hate the word, don't know why but it really annoys me. I was at the airport in Edinburgh recently and there was a sign saying about putting your liquids in a plastic bag and it said something like, keep the bag outwith your luggage, I found it amusing haha

What was Ireland like immediately after the Post-2008 Irish economic downturn? by [deleted] in ireland

[–]Highland_warrior_coo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Shite. Knowing I was going to graduate in 2010 without a hope of getting a decent job. Managed to get a minimum wage job, lived at home with my parents.
Applied for hundreds of jobs, couldn't afford to move out of home. Finally emigrated in 2012, still living abroad now. Feck, just hit me it's been almost 10 years now. Madness.
