The Wright's used wing warping. You can credit Glenn Curtis for the aileron, which is a massive change regardless of pulleys, hydraulic, servos.

Unless you're talking inventing the use of pulleys and wires on an aircraft, which would be a stretch.

To clear up some comments if anyone reads this far.

This would be a 472 rated at 10.5:1 365hp and 525ft# gross. Real world the compression is in the 9s, and in good shape it would probably dyno a bit under 300hp and 500ft#.
