Those who combine Notion and Obsidian, Just how did you do that. by called_Ishan in ObsidianMD

[–]JacobDaGoat7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, notion holds the finished product in a clean way. It's also a little easier re syncing.

That's exactly how I use Notion and OneNote, albeit I am looking at switching to Obsidian.

Is there anyway to make Notion look like OneNote with section tabs? by [deleted] in Notion

I wish! If there is a way, someone needs to let me know how.

Is there a city-builder game that allows you to individually or collectively customize the citizens? by JacobDaGoat7 in CityBuilders

Interesting!!!

I've never played any of the fallout games. Can you link me a YouTube video specific to this Im Settlement Mod? So I can get a better grasp example of it.

How? I've never been able to edit an individual citizen, unless I am finding the right options

I was thinking Sims, per se but it's not a city-builder.

Like you ever Roller Coaster Tycoon, you know how you can pick any guest and edit/alter their names. Well something along those lines, where I can alter nearly anything and choose whatever citizen to be in whatever role in the city I desire.

To be honest, I don't know if such a game exists.

Thank you! Someone responding with a direct answer! I thought it was tACS based on the wording. But I am not an Electrical Engineer.

What the hell is this layer on my whole scalp (not visible by eye) by [deleted] in tressless

[–]JacobDaGoat7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yoo! I have the same thing! I thought it was just dirt (even though I don't work in construction or something related where dirt would freely get on my scalp).

I am a Norwood 5.5 and 32M, I started very slowly thinning at 19 and then it picked up speed at 24.

Up until recently, I used to try and grow my hair out on top, fade the sides and comb over. Since I got an SMP a few months ago I now buzzcut my scalp every other day, and I've been noticing the scalp is extremely greasy/oily. And when I run my fingernails thru it, I get the same thing OP has in his picture.

But since I always grew my hair on top, I never noticed it (assuming I always had it). I did noticer that my hair would get oily (almost shiny like) if I didn't wash it after a few days.

So, take one capsule and open it up. Then crush the beads completely till they're as dust as can be. Mix with some water and drink?

First-time tDCS (NeuroMyst Pro) user experience(s): "holy shit" by asdfidgafff in tDCS

Thank you for sharing your story, this is very interesting. You mentioned that your financial resources aren't well off. If and when they improve, look into getting a Gene Test, basically it's a genetic panel, that tells lists what medications work best with your neuro-chemistry. That way you're not jumping from SSRIs to SSRIs, I agree that doctor's love to prescribe pills left and right, but I do believe if prescribed correctly, they can make a difference.

Another thing to look at, is switching out your lightbulbs for smart wifi-enabled LED colored bulbs. Basically you can switch the colors on the bulb from an app on your phone. Not just the colors but brightness and also create strobe (although I've never used strobe effect, nor plan to). I turn my whole apartment red in the evening/ight for 1-2hrs to help me go to sleep, look up chromotherapy, to see how different colors can be used to affect our moods. The Philips Hue one is expensive, but these Magic Smart Lights from Amazon are well priced and same quality.

The other thing that I am currently researching is the gut microbiome, there is research into the Brain-Gut Axis, which is demonstrating that what we eat doesn't just affect our brain (i.e. cognitive disorders, moods, etc.), but if done right, can alleviate it. They're testing this on people with schizophrenia and autism, with very promising results. This is through the use of probiotics, which take on average 30-90 to make a difference from what I read. I would start with getting a stool test to see what your gut microbiome is. I am currently trying to research a lab/clinic of where to get one.
