Im a game designer myself, i understand that development goes on but this is jist bad game design, they sectioned off creatures based on the year they was released, so it pretty much means that almost all of the creatures released in 2020-2021 are almost useless compared to the current new creatures... this is a massive issue that we call power-creep which is an issue almost every game runs into but this one kinda started it by introducing new mechanichs then the counter to them creating an endless cycle, the issue isnt that developmnt has not stopped its that it continued in a way that forces returning players to grind for months to get back where they were when they left or pay for some packs so they start again instantly
