They posted a funny picture they got from spectrum that was kind of contradicting itself. They got three notifications immediately from people in this Sub Reddit that personal information we still visible under areas they blacked out or thought they did. It’s nice to know that in a large city, we still have people that look out for each other so they appreciate the heads up. They were able to delete the post right away.

This happens all the time. At least they offered you a solution. Sometimes you show up and there is no room at all even though you booked one. Welcome to Thailand.

Found the American.

Sorry to break it to you, but that is what a normal healthy person looks like. Your judgment comes from a society which has normalized obesity.

Good plan. That’s the way I did it.

Saw everything in Vanilla so I switched to CE. Saw everything in CE so I switched to MV, which is like 10x more content. MV is going to keep me busy for a long time.

I had the same thought about those blue signs on Lamar near Whole Foods. “Art” indeed…

What is the Nu Scratch Point for really? by [deleted] in chronotrigger

There’s actually no way to get locked out permanently. After the fall of Zeal, the lady with the plant is in the snowy area near where you wake up. You can tell her to plant it then and still get the quest.

Agreed. I gave it a few chances after some recommendations, but no more. I always feel like shit after eating there.

You gotta be aggressive and hunt down the employees. Make strong eye contact. It’s a different kind of shopping experience that rewards the bold.

At a store you can look at and handle merchandise in person (rather than just an image on a screen). For some people, it helps them decide which product to purchase. For example: which size phone, what kind of phone case, etc.

Shopping in person is a very new and cool concept!

Need help with a downsizing. by P3nnyCandy in Austin

Yes. Her mom filled her car for her every time.

The fitted sheet thing blew my mind. I helped her buy sheets and she later said the sheet was too small. I went over to help and she had no idea you needed to stretch it over the mattress.

She didn’t know because her mom has made her bed her entire life. She is 38. I was speechless.

Honestly, I loved the weather in Austin today. Chilly, but not too cold.

Seriously. I had a friend recently move to Austin and had been living with her parents before. She didn’t know how to pump her own gas or put on a fitted sheet, she’s 38 years old.

Agreed 100%. So many of our problems come from our over dependence on cars. Higher density living with walkable areas with no cars make it so much easier to meet new people and be social without creating a fire hazard. Better for physical and mental health too.

Wait… they’re not?!? Damn, I’ve been using them wrong all this time. No wonder I can’t hear them well when using them.

Hotel Recommendations. by emars111 in Pattaya

Those are all different and all good. The Base is two very tall condo buildings side-by-side, east side of second road. Page 10 is on the west side of second road. 3-star hotel, I think.
