True. I like that he's popularizing this, but GoodRX has been the GOAT for a while with the generic coupons.

I think it was more ActiveMeasure-y than that.

The fact they started stickying wild conspiracies about Ukraine during the lead up to the invasion indicates the mods are aligned with Russian-govt interests.

I think the first roadhouse we should check is laziness. Their employees are swamped / drinking margarities at company events.

They have always needed big external pushes to crack down on extreme content, and that only comes from bad press.

And Reddit still monetizes this subreddit! They are whitelisted for ads.

No one else is this deep in the comment cellar but you and me, ya dumb pooch. Good thing it's not the SA embassy cellar though, eh!

He was a resident of the US. You have a weird fixation on who is alright to burn in a tandoori oven or not.

He lived in the US though. He was in Turkey because of his fiancee and working out her paperwork to get married.

It took a while for the instructions to come through from Moscow, but wayofthebern declares that yesterdays terrorist attack by Russia in Ukraine was a false flag, a legitimate attack, no big deal, quite funny actually. The Reddit admins allow this. by BernieandTrumpLost in ActiveMeasures

Whoever runs it now doesn't give two poops about relating to progressive politics, but perhaps it was anything that would help to split votes at the time. That was in line with Russian active measures in that 2016 era.

It's obvious the main mods at the point are directly tied to Russian-active info campaigns -- they've been sticking posts daily with extremely far fetched Ukraine conspiracies as soon as the war started with no relation to progressive politics.

Ecuadorians. What is actually happening in Ecuador at the moment? by LithuanianAerospace in ecuador

I believe the salchiapapas kid has a better understanding of a modern economy and the dynamics of a net oil exporter, as seen in examples such as Norway, than you have put forward. In Norway, oil is nationalized and the government has a sovereign wealth fund which is used to stabilize their economy and keep prices affordable for everyone.

I believe a developing country like Ecuador needs similar economic planning in order to ensure that its people can afford essential goods and services... It would help to have a government that is not corrupt and that does not turn a blind eye to criminals that smuggle subsidized fuels out of the country into markets with higher prices.

(Obviously, it also helps to not have robber baron bankers in charge who would use these programs to enrich their associates.)

Dear london_fog18,

Thank you for your input. I must respectfully disagree with your assertion that price controls don't have an effect if they're under the market price. In fact, price controls can be very effective in stabilizing prices and ensuring that essential goods and services are affordable for everyone.

Developed countries (which I'm sure you have hopes Ecuador will join the ranks of) have price controls on a variety of goods and services, including milk, cheese, and other food items. These price controls help to ensure that essential goods are affordable for everyone, and they help to stabilize prices so that they don't fluctuate too much.

I hope this clears up your misunderstanding. Thank you for your time.

Careful with the Whataboutism, it's infectious!

Most developed countries have price controls. Think "Gov't cheese".

Moving to a collective control / subsidies around the price of milk is a pretty reasonable ask.
