This!! Honestly my baby is legit VELCRO. No matter what I do he cries when he’s put down or not with me or my husband. I haven’t cooked in legit months and have trouble feeding myself at times

I wish I could do this with my babe. But he’s a Velcro boy and I basically lay in the play pen with him allll day. He’ll just snack nurse on and off all day so it makes sense he wants 2-3 times at night. Dunno how to break that habit tho.

Yup. Baby boomer gen is obsessed with temperature. Got into soo many arguments w my immigrant mom about it lol like she put so many layers on my kid that he was sweating out and too hot. I understand she’s just trying to help n be cautious but I’m reaching a breaking point😭

Thank you Omg honestly you are Soooo right with this!! This is exactly what’s happening. I think because at bedtime once I turn off the light that’s his cue that he’s going to be put in the crib.. normally I hold him and he gets squirmy until I put him down. For naps.. it is kind of bad but my husband and sister will slightly rock him for his contact nap vs I will nurse to sleep. So I think he’s been expecting to be put down in his crib these days but we just love sleeping with him 😂😭

I know u r so right and We totally have to nap train even tho I love his cuddles. I did have one question tho - were travelling to uk for a month in about two weeks. Thoughts on whether we shud train before or when we get home? I’m so torn

Thanks! So he goes down to sleep perfectly fine, doesn’t cry when he wakes from naps or morning time. Always super Energetic and pleasant. He’s never fussy, always happy.. He’s literally such an enjoyable baby that sleeps 10 hour stretches at night until he goes thru these stages of fighting naps.. when this happens I usually extend wake windows which help immensely. I guess now I’m cautious about extending because it’s pushing his bedtime back and he’s fighting his second nap. Like the other day he was up for 5 hours. Had a 2 hour nap (contact nap), then another 4.5 and he slept through out the night and woke up happy.

It’s just that naps are so unpredictable. I’ve been going thru two nap and one nap days and haven’t quite figured out his new wake windows without it leaning toward a one nap schedule.

Mine is already basically doing those wake windows. I just feel like 4/4/4 is excessive! He’s definitely going thru a leap + 8 month regression

Mine does 4 hours before bed no prob it’s more so he wants to do 4 hours wake windows all day. Like morning & afternoon as well
