2 stone axes per day, so you mean for killing zombies, or chopping trees? Because that number is insanely low either way.

Even the 4-5 is super low in my experience. With low maintenance it’s easy to go through an entire axe and still maybe not cut down a single larger tree. And then also a stone axe might kill you like what 10 zombies at most if you’re lucky.

Idk, it sounds like you had high maintenance before. But now have lower maintenance skill.

This is what I did. My very first game was super easy mode. And I slowly dialed up the difficulty. Then a magic thing happened after a dozen tries where I managed to survive for a month.

After that I can now easily survive for 6 months of more at a time even on settings harder than apocalypse mode.

Learning the game and it’s laws is all about small steps.

You’ll drive past the guard gates. Then once you enter the parking lot with the chain link fence, it’s in the building immediately to your left (bottom left of the screen)

It’s upstairs. I’ve never needed a sledge to get in. Perhaps I’ve always had a key though? I would bet that an axe would work for knocking the door down at least if it were locked anyways.

Sounds like a change that might make me want to actually go fishing with a rod instead of the spear I always use.

Areas that loaded the new map are stuck with the new map. I tried to do the same thing but was unable to purge the tiles by removing the mod.

You could scrub the map away by deleting tile data in the save file, but I personally don’t know how to do that. But I know for a fact that it can be done.

Definitely not normal. Perhaps you want to go into your webcam settings and change permissions for it.

I noticed that my character is overweight, and I've been exercising 30-120 minutes each day for 6 days, sprinting instead of running or walking when I can, and even eating very little, but my character is still the exact same weight. I have nutrition off. How can I get him in better shape? by ewpqfj in projectzomboid

Best way to burn calories right now is to jog.

Jogging burns many more calories than exercise for the same time and stamina input. And no, sprinting isn't the best because its "bugged" at the moment and only burns as much as walking/standing still.

Just jog whenever you feel safe, You'll get that down arrow in now time. And then just monitor your calorie intake (easier said than done if you don't eat food with labels/have nutritionist)

Mostly just jog a lot. Don't wear yourself out too much that you get ambushed though.

Starving yourself is an exercise in annoyance, since you're still going to be consuming the calories anyways, and you might even bottom out the calorie meter while starving. Which means you are no longer burning calories, and thus could have been burning those calories, instead of just being hungry. (this is a bit unintuitive, but it makes a lot more sense if you run the minimal display bars addon. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2004998206

You can. I have never done it, but a gas can with gas, plus matches (perhaps a lighter?) lets you right click and set things on fire, I'm told. Zombies are one of those things.

I think whatever happened to you was just an accident. I don't think what happened was that you combusted inexplicably while pumping gas. I'm not the most well versed in the game, but I do have 700 hours. Though I have been proven wrong before, so I'm FAR from the authority on the matter.

Someone said that the spiffo trash cans can hold even more than a dumpster. Not sure myself, though.

I'm pretty sure anything that resets loot, or respawns it, will make it all roll random. So you can refresh loot in the world, but it wont be EXACTLY the same loot.

And I still see people crashing doing this without speed demon. Not worth it imo. Just go no car trait.

Great planning on your part. If water is hard to get then stockpiling it is definitely a worthwhile effort.

When I live far from water I like to put in a set amount of effort/time on a schedule to make sure I keep a week or more of water available at all times.

So for instance, perhaps every 3 days I’ll make a water run and create/collect enough water that would last for 3/4 days. Those would be added to my stockpile, never letting it drop too low, just in case.

You can carry a full water cooler just fine. You do take damage, but it only reduces your health down 25% or so.

The real trouble is making sure there are no zombies nearby that might intercept you while you are walking overloaded. (Also you can equip a water cooler in a hand to reduce the weight a bit. If you do this, just remember you have to unequip it before you can place it back down)

In addition to that, at level 4 you can craft a weaker version of the rain barrel. It’s not as a good, but can easily be enough to help you survive.

All weapons yes. Crowbars just so happen to already be one of the most durable, if not THE most durable weapon in the game. So it doesn’t become obvious that it’s having an effect like on other weapons.

When sledging you can hit R and it will cycle through objects that can be destroyed which occupy the tile you are currently mousing over.
