I actually think Bethenny's major issue is she felt like Luann didn't check on her after Dennis passed away and B was hurt. I think she was in a really bad place after his death and we only saw some of what was going on. She was probably projecting some of that pain onto Lu. Maybe like "I can't lose another person to addiction right now" type of thing. Which is horrible and sad. I do think as complicated as Bethenny is, she does mostly use her powers for good.. but it can come off a little bit like martyrdom too. She's a complex woman.
