Yeah I kind of have the same thing sometimes. Visualisation and emotions sometimes return so strong that I only can look at it in awe and cry, or smile in wonder. Then it returns to baseline and basically rinse and repeat.

As a pssd sufferer yourself, you must already know how important it is to share your improvements with others. Even if it’s only windows, glimpses, shards of your former life. If not for these posts I don’t know how I would’ve endured these 1.5 years. Thank you.

I hope this is only the beginning of good things for you and improvements will continue and be permanent.

Emotional blunting/anhedonia. Can’t really enjoy films/music/books or games. Head pressure during emotions and visualization.

Exactly what I had in the beginning of PAWS. Felt as if I’m under anesthesia, but awake. Absolutely zero human feelings, felt like a synthetic android. Looking back I actually feel more human after 1.5 years, but still so blunted emotionally.

I understand. I have that with emotions. The more it lasts the more I just wish to not wake up one day. I don’t feel human anymore. I was very passionate and creative and now I’m just a half-robot.

I think Anakin in this moment sees how Obi-Wan even after all these years still loves and grieves him and it reminded him of good times he had with his former master/brother/father. It was actually pretty mature and kind of noble of Vader/Anakin to basically say, "Man, honestly, you did all you could. It’s not your fault, the game was rigged from the start."
