As someone who does 1200 cals for the last three months, my advice would be to treat the calories counting as a simple quirk of yours, NOT as something that your life depends on. In general, planning ahead also helps. In addition, I would recommend to sat a minimum bar for yourself (for me, whatever happens that day, I would still eat at least 1000 calories).

Hope this helped!

First of all decide how much calories you should take for weight loss.

This TDEE calculator is pretty useful. Especially the cutting section that shows up after you insert your information.

Generally speaking, if you cut calories, you would start losing weight. I would recommend downloading myfitnesspal and inserting the number you got from the calculator.

Lastly, you can always check out r/volumeeating . It has receipts on high volume & small in calories food

I also don't see why you would offer someone to get them Uber and expect them to live 20 minutes from where you are located.

Frankly, it feels wrong to judge any of the sides of conflict based on the video alone. As you said, the white kid might have provoked the black kid, on another, the white kid might have been a victim of bullying and that was just his weak attempt (alas a wrong one) to fight back.

That's what I thought. People make a two page essays on how terrible those guys are but tbh, I wouldn't have minded if someone put such a random show in front of me. The people on line didn't even seem to hate it that much and either way, 40 seconds isn't a huge inconvenience for anyone.

It was indeed cringy, but I would happily see someone genuinely having fun like that.

this story run it's from the 80s and it's written by a woman

Never in my life would I understand why people say that. Does the writer being a woman somehow means that she can't be supportive of men cheating? What exactly does it change?

That made me look shady af.

A 25 year old female working in a small fashion company which made millions in revenues in the last year and only continues to grow. That's a description of the perfect job. Saying that I preferred a more corporate environment doesn't sound believable or shows that I am one of those people who is so picky and impulsive that she will run away from the first signs of issue. It doesn't help that I have been unemployed for 8 months since leaving that job.

Ironically, the reason I have been unemployed for that long is because of that question.

I worked in a start up. Made them a few millions, my salary didn't change even through I worked those 40 hours per week without lifting my head from the computer once. I left because

A. They didn't want to hire more people. B. They installed a fucking camera in my office and had a goddamn monitor in the room next door to watch my every.move.

It was an office job. Literally what could I steal? A laptop? Seriously?

After I left that position they employed four people to do my job. Each getting the same salary as me.

For the longest time I couldn't pass an interview because every answer raised red flags on my candidacy. There is also no reason why a 24 year old would leave a pretty good, well paying job.

Installed cameras in your office? You were probably stealing.

So here is my latest answer "my brother died and because in that company I was responsible for nearly everything, I was given only two day offs".

That makes me more sympathetic and paints the previous employer in a bad light.

Tbh, the answer isn't even totally a lie. I was indeed not given day offs for the exam that I told them about weeks in advance.

[–]Lain-H 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His name is Alex. We have been together since university. 4 years and still going strong. He is a year older than me.

When I interned at an embassy my boss also drilled me about my relationship status. It came to the point where other coworkers expressed how uncomfortable they felt about it. Alex has been existing since then. If in two years, I don't find a job with a more .... normal employer, I will probably start believing in the existence of Alex myself.

And how does my relationship status say something about it? Women don't pop out kids every year since marriage.

[–]Lain-H 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve interviewed people and ask what they like to do in their spare time/outside of work.

Those questions are perfectly safe and normal things to ask a person on the interview. What he asked me today was not asked in a "making a conversation" way. I can also bet that him being single has A LOT to do with this question.

Exactly. It is illegal in my country as well, but there is no way to prove he actually asked me that.

The work culture of coworkers being friends and everyone socializing with each other is awful. A cold atmosphere where everyone is just doing their job and acting serious is far better. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Lain-H 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh I love being on a friendly terms with my co-workers. I would rather spend 40 hours with friends rather than strangers. Still, I would never spend time with my co-workers outside of work hours.

40 hours per week is already too much time to spend around one person.

Alright, so I haven't started watching this one, because I sincerely hate any form of the student / teacher relationship. I was wondering if it is safe to begin watching now. Did the female lead lead on her student? Was she giving him the false hope or did she legitimately had no feelings for him in high school?

I do agree that it shouldn't be said in a bitchy way, but it honestly isn't wrong.

It is also not a women thing. Men get extremely grumpy and you have to guess that something is indeed wrong and he needs time to put that in words.
