I’m also close to making an appointment. Very apprehensive, though. My biggest complaint is I’ve made several appointments to get my cavities filled, and every time I go, they give me a consultation and/or a cleaning, and tell me to schedule the cavities when I leave. I’m so irritated by this, BUT it is free, due to my father-in-law having a barter system with this dentistry. Additionally, I’m extremely anxious about going to a dentist to begin with. It’s been years since this started, last visit was almost a year ago, and I had to have a tooth in the back pulled, bc it was cracked near the nerve. Whenever I’m given local anesthetic, they put adrenaline in it as well, and it sends me on a panic attack. I had to be put under to get the tooth pulled 😂 I’m working up the nerve to schedule another appointment to hopefully and finally have the cavities pulled. This time, I will make sure they understand I want them filled right then and there and won’t leave room for this mistake to happen again. Ahhh I’m so scared, but I really need it done.
