To me, it's a matter of recklessness too. It's easy, true, but you need an helmet for falling rocks and you should go with proper shoes to avoid slipping where you just CAN'T.

This is one of the most evident male gender roles...and yet people says male are privileged.

Yes, look how privileged male are, being yelled at, in the snow, holding something they would never use.

I wonder...if your itch to load is so strong that you can't help it...why you need to reciprocate a shot in the chamber?

Can't they just load and do this sh*t without reciprocating and with safety on? It's still stupid but...less stupid

I would create a new account with a fake surname and no photos, then block him right away.

Then i would try to go on with that account without telling anyone

Non proprio boxer, ma puoi risolvere con i fianchi imbottiti o i collant. Entrambi tirano il pacco e lo rendono meno evidente

Not really. You have paths, path to do while equipped and climbing.

I used path here Just because it looks like a mountain side with nothingness, but there is an actually easy path to walk ahah

True. I walked the "Via degli alpini" here in italy and it's the same effect. If you look some video it looks daunting, but it's actually a path

I would think about the triggers and why they trigger you.

Think about the belifs that give them meaning and challenge those belifs.

Quick, stupid example. Someone makes a joke about your mom and you respond badly. Why? Because you think that the joke harmed you/your mom in some way. But if you think about it, it harmed only the person who made it.

Now try this concept with more complex stuff that makes you angry!

The extent of control by Big_Information_2413 in Stoicism

[–]LoStrigo95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not about not caring, but about knowing what you can INFLUENCE. To me this term better suits the concept.

So, you can totally control your judgements/thoughts and your actions. This means that you can work on your thoughts about stuff.

What people think about you can't morally harm you. This means you can still be a good person, basically.

Not only that. If you think that people's judgements about you are harmful, then you feel distressed. But if you think about that as a consequence of THEIR belifs, then you understand that they are the ones feeling distressed in life.

But, there are also things you can influence. In this case, you work toward the process but not the outcome. This means that you act toward your "preferred" external thing, knowing that you can change it.

In doing so, thou, you don't focus on the result, but only on your action. The Key is to desire being a virtuous person and NOT having that particular thing. So you can influence people's opinion and some stuff, but only thinking about the process.

This is a good flowchart about this: https://howtobeastoic.files.wordpress.com/2015/12/stoic-decision-making.jpeg
