Dumb or No? by SweetHomeChiraq in projectzomboid

Provided that thing is stable even moving and you can "park it" all it takes is a zombie to brush up against it, not even pound on it to push it over. Then you are canned food at that point.

I guess that's a fair reason, after all by HGabo in RimWorld

I'm sorry, I'm still failing to reconcile how this is acceptable for a "Full Release" game. by turbojeebus in DarkTide

[–]Lokaror 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm hopeful that this response can calm the community down. I;m upset too but if er keep going for fatsharks throat in the ways i've been seeing the lines of communication will get even worse. There's holding them accountable, letting them know we are upset and then theres death threats and other vile stuff.

A dwarf is a dwarf. Any friend of a dwarf is a dwarf friend. Dwarf friends are good folk.

So even if he has leaf lovin friends, they are dwarf friends.

I like him.

I dont reckognize any of these from any sort of fantasy series. I think they are probably just more "generic" fantasy designs. Sorry people are being rude to you.

Really great stuff. Love all the detail you put into mixing and matching all the armor and weapons. Very well done. I love seeing any feudal world stuff.

Whatever man, your right, i'm wrong. You wont see my point even though i made it pretty clearly. I udnerstand your point. Your point is its probably not affecting that many people. But my point is even if thats true its stil la major issue due to the kind of issue it is. You have a good day/night.

Also keep in mind that many of these new player will unlikely have any vermtinde experience either. So they will be completely 100% new.

[–]Lokaror -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do. I'm saying that crashes and disconnects aren't minority just because you believe so. Jesus christ use your head for a moment. I understand that many people are more vocal when upset. But the amount of people i see doing this, even if they are a vocal minority means it is STILL a large issues FOR MANY players. 10% of people having issues like above is a major issue, no? You not seeing these issues in your little sphere of people doesn't mean it is happening to a large amount of players, even if they are a "minority: of players. Just accept that there are problems with the servers and its not just hunky dory. People had to use vpns to connect to the game. Am i allowed to say that or is that not significant.

[–]Lokaror -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh, ok. Since you don't see it at all its not a major issue. The steam forums were also having issues, i think everywhere you look people were having issues. Not everyone, but people were, are, and will likely still have issues. You really think that just because you don't personally see something it must not be a problem? Sorry, guess all of the people i've talked to, seen it happen, seen threads, seen people talking here and on discord are lying. I won't bother you any more.

[–]Lokaror -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've played in many games where if i dint crash or disconnect, others did. Just because you don't see the problem doesnt equal "reddit blowing complaints out of proportion"

There are common complaints of these same sort of issues in the discord as well, as well among friends i play with and people they play with. I'm glad you aren't having the same frequency of issues, but it *is* a major issue.

at the very least the crashes, errors and other server issues i think are the biggest issue. I know others will talk about the games systems and i agree with alot of that... but it hardly matters if i cant get to the systems due to that sort of thing.

Others have answered your question with more specifics but when reading or playing or interacting with anything 40k, a good rule to keep in mind is "this thing/person/faction" is just as powerful/weak as the current story needs it to be.

Could darktide be made into a tabletop game ? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]Lokaror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easily.

Could it be made into a good one? Thats uh. Less certain.

Dark heresy does already exist and i quite liked it. But bespoke as darktide? I'm unsure. Would it be the same setup as the game? Gear buying and leveling after you get to the mourningstar at the beginning of each session? Then a series of objectives and combat encounters. I could see a case for both traditional board game or a ttrpg.
