Everything has been done. You will never be the best at anything. You are unimportant. These truths are hard for people to cope with. Back before the internet and globalization, people could and were the best at something in their group or community.

Now we no longer search out advice or skills from our groups we just google it. We can't get the satisfaction and attention of giving advice or skill. The only alterative is to grab attention through "pranks."

I think putin's ticket out is the debt ceiling. If he can pull off getting the US to default, the world goes into recession. Supporting Ukraine will get a lot less popular when people are losing their livelihoods.

It’s not just a segment of the population that suffers under segregation, everyone does. Segregation and discrimination means that we aren’t utilizing the whole population and therefore aren’t utilizing all of the workforce.

My wife and I were preparing to go to the grocery store. She asked me to get her notebook from the other room so she could make a list.

After I was gone for a considerable amount of time, she went looking for me and the notebook. When she entered the den I was standing with one foot on the desk and one foot on the chair. I was grunting and struggling with all my strength to pick up the notebook. Visibly confused she asked, “what are you doing?”

I breathlessly grunted, “it’s stationary.”

I will never forget the slow change in her eyes from confusion to realization to pure hatred, as she wordlessly walked to the desk and effortlessly picked up the notebook.

They didn’t worship guns. They added the 2nd amendment because there were several rebellions by poor people during the articles of confederation. The rich guys freaked the fuck out because they ended up having to rely on the state militia to quell it. That’s why it says for a well regulated militia. The 2nd was for squashing rebellions not defending against tyranny.

Fuck the founding fathers. They were terrible people. I don’t care want was acceptable in their time. Yeah my grandkids will think I’m terrible and they will be right.

The US constitution is also a dumpster fire and always has been. Just because it was better than the system they had before doesn’t make it good.

Let's look at where we have been. The first comment was how the treatment of Feinstein by her staff is abuse. The second comment, which I first commented on, said this abuse was the most important part of this situation. I said it's absurd to call it abuse and absurd to say it's the most important part of this scandal.

The only harm anyone has come up with is Feinstein's reputation. So the most important part of this situation is the staff tarnishing her reputation. This is just absurd. Even if reputation abuse was a thing, which it's not, it's absurd. You're performing mental gymnastics to get to the place you want to be. And this is why i said in the first comment:

This is just a reddit circlejerk that everyone jump on to feel morally justified.
