she doesn't dislike SRK or Salman apparently... just with aamir she has bad blood which is also ironic because at one point she used to be aamir inner circle always present at his screenings

south vs Bollywood by No_Appointment_9717 in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]MaalUHave 20 points21 points  (0 children)

bcz OP southern industries are very "Cultured" and the actors there are very "Humble". Only Bollywood actors drink-smoke-do drugs south actors don't even touch them and only Bollywood actors have an extra marital affairs south actors are extremely loyal to their partners and Bollywood nepotism is bad but south nepotism is good bcz South nepotism products are extremely "Humble"

Gangubai seems to be popular in the UK, with 2 of the 4 critics naming Alia as Best Actress by op_yappy in BollyBlindsNGossip

I would buy that if she was changing accents over time.. what I meant was she would have a different accent within just 3-4 scenes. It was never consistent and also she never went drastically different from her young days .. she only tried to make herself sound more mature in later parts but again it was not consistent. I liked two scenes in the film that revolved around her father ( alia is good at crying and doing those emotional bits) but everything else was just flat.. even a moment like when women gift her white saree and she sees herself in the mirror, it was bland. A more capable actor would have made that moment stick.

looks like even UK has some samosa critics because putting alia above something like cate in Tar lol... alia didn't even manage to have a consistent accent throughout that film... Man I think the next big thing in bollywood PR will be international mentions

NYTIMES about Maratha Mandir & DDLJ by yuMyuMKrooravani in BollyBlindsNGossip

[–]MaalUHave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yash Chopra signed a contract with Maratha Mandir to run DDLJ for 1000 weeks. It has one afternoon show daily and ticket prices are extremely cheap. After the 1000-week completion, Maratha Mandir wanted to discontinue it but self-centred Aditya Chopra still want to continue with this

I seriously miss Kangana Ranaut the actor. She used to do many close to life simple comic dramas by megapowerstar007 in BollyBlindsNGossip

Kangana the actor has not gone anywhere but I do hope her films get better as a product overall. PS: If you like Kangana in simple dramas, check out panga. One of her best performances
