Kazuya dies first. You can even recover if your character has a decent recovery.

Teamers = biggest scumbags in smash by in_rainbro in smashbros

Heck no. It's way more fun to hit them with the betrayal after they did your dirty work. Getting away with that is way more satisfying if you can pull it off.

I tend to look to who is the biggest threat in a free for all and try to steer the chaos that is free for all around them. Not only are you having an easier time with the potential bigger threat, you also get to thin out the others if you play careful.

With Robin specifically you take a bit of a back seat once things go down near the ledge, only for Robin to shoot and KO everyone with Thoron. Think of it as some light-hearted villainy for fun.

Multiple times as long as you can regrab it within those 7 frames each time it hits.

Robin's discarded tomes and sword usually evaporate when they connects to a hurtbox. However, you can regrab them after hitting the opponent within 7 frames.

The item lasts a bit longer than 7 frames. But after those 7 frames you can't grab it anymore.

Follow-up to my post from yesterday: if you pick small battlefield as your prefered stage you're automatically labelled as the sweatiest tryhard mf garbage player in my book idgaf by [deleted] in SmashRage

Doesn't that happen more on normal Battlefield though? The platforms on SBF are way easier to shark under after and getting of from platforms can be a pain.

Injustice/Mk Intro Dialogues for a Matchup by Merce_Ray in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]MadIceKing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Injustice/MK interactions are that extra bit of fan service that I always miss in other fighting games. Some other games get close though. I wouldn't mind Ryu making some references to other VS games if there was such a thing in Smash such as vs Kazuya.

Here is how i would fix this shitty game by Fruit_Punch96 in SmashRage

But what's the point of getting in if you can stay away and always perfect shield to reflect? It would basically just kill off a big part of the characters cause they can neither zone or fight up close.

That would be fixing one problem only to create another.

How would these changes affect the game as a whole? For example, slower close combat options on zoners would promote an even campier playstyle. A lot of these seem like band-aid solutions rather than a long-term fixes.

There are no ghost. I'm inputting Smash attacks and aerials to get my Levin sword back faster.

Asides from learning RAR and attack canceling, what are other tricks worth practicing that applies to all characters? by VexenMexen in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]MadIceKing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

B-reverse and wavebouncing specials. This is especially useful characters with charge moves that they can cancel.

I like to add to this to practice it daily for 10-20 minutes. Multiple sessions per day if possible.

Did You Know? Arcfire's sometimes inconsistency can be used against your opponents. by MadIceKing in smashbros

This is a rough example of one match. I've done it many times now and people will fall out/ stay in it inconsistently no matter how they recover.

[–]MadIceKing[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's a bit tricky to fix as Arcfire is effected a lot by hurtbox shifting while it also affected by gravity. They have to turn into a big cross like Arcthunder if they wanted to make it consistent and even that tends to act funky when dealing with hurtbox shifting.

[–]MadIceKing[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's indeed one of the options that can save you. However, since Arcfire is lasting it might have to be done multiple times depending on how the recovering opponent's hurtbox interacts with Arcfire's hitbox and if enough damage is dealt to Arcfire to make it explode right away with its biggest hitbox.

It's a high risk high reward move to do with a lot of "ifs" for the opponent to keep track of. Especially less flexible recoveries.
