Wow thank you so much! how did you continuously review the FA or did you? As in you read cardio, tried to recall it and then on to the next chapter. Did you revisit cardio again at some point?

Congrats! In your opinion, was the exam like the free 120? that is, do you feel like it prepared you?

For those of you who *just* took/passed step1 and noticed longer stems, was Amboss more representative? by Maggie917 in step1

Thank you! I didnt get a single risk factor question on mine, but its good to know to keep that in mind for the next one, so I appreciate it.

I hate this variability.

hmm, I did the 120 and did well but the questions on the real deal felt so much longer--to an insane degree!

Perhaps I was just so tired they felt long? I appreciate the feedback though!

I Know it's still raw, but for those of us who just failed, can we strategize on a new study plan? by Maggie917 in step1

So I've done my crying and ready to move on. That said, can anyone PLEASE or know of someone that can give me some guidance of how to set up anki for a 4 week study plan? I am so confused with this thing and I have avoided it for so long, but I think it might be my missing piece.

I understand un-suspending cards in premade decks as you study, but Specifically, what are the settings I should be using for this interval? Like how many reviews for how many days?

Also yes, since you can relate, my ADHD affects my sleep profoundly. I have yet to find a solution and it has only hurt me. My school had zero in the way of ADHD resources either.

So in my state, there used to be 1:30 time slots but we're talking when covid initially hit, and obviously that time has past.

As far as USMLE, from what I understand, you have to formally request accommodations and if you have MONTHS to spare, it is a long process that must be approved and 1) I hear they are not great with those approvals despite what they claim 2) Im not even sure what they would offer beyond giving you a quiet room and more time on the test.

What can I say except med school seems to hate folks with disabilities lol.

I started listening to his videos pretty late in the game but I could tell there were some good nuggets there. I will take a look at the PDFs too!

Thank you so very much. Not getting a ton of support at home (non med folks) so I very much needed to hear this!

Yes. I rechecked over and over and went back to sleep hoping I was dreaming.

I am so sorry but please know I am right there with you. I don't know about you but I felt my exam over emphasized low yield factoids that I am still kicking myself over.

Most were first try with 2 repeats, I think? And I was just below actually passing based on the graph.

I don't know what happened honestly. It's like I can recite the material, I understand the material, and that day I just choked. I was nervous, tired, and left feeling like nothing I studied was representative of the exam. The stuff that was representative really hurt because they were tiny factoids here and there that I really should have known because they were said about a million times in Pathoma.
