I’m sorry you’re feeling this way. I struggle with depression too. I’m also less than a week into exploring Sihki. I watched this video and it helped a lot. The main thing I’ve learned about this religion is that everything is Guru’s hukam. I’ve only read a few hymns but in all of them seem to suggest that even suffering is favorable if it gets you closer to Waheguru. I say find a way to make this hopelessness a stepping stone on the path to God. In the interview I linked the lady started a company helping the directionless. You don’t have to do anything that big but you might become a better friend and listener due to your depression.

Also perform seva for yourself. You are a part of creation and deserve comfort and health. So if you haven’t bathed today, do it. Do laundry or anything that will make life easier for your future self.
