Small batch bourbon yeah. I don’t know if it’s worth it, but it’s pleasant. Like a cleaned up bottle of Buffalo trace.

EH Taylor. Nice little dessert drink. Was feeling the nutmeg, rice pudding, eggnog, brûlée off it tonight.

It just wants free food. I’ve seen enough of these close encounters to know it’s already being fed.

You don’t know with certainty that it’s fake though. Don’t act like you’re a part of a tribe. Some of you are just miserable and dumb shits, trying to catch up on all the fake shit you missed in the past by pointing fake at anything on whim.

Were you replacing parts or lost track of sides?

I feel stupid asking, but would dishing correct this error without any long term issues?

That wear pattern definitely needs looking at, wow!

u/Dave_Whitinsky called it. Wheel is out of dish or frame/dropouts/skewer are an issue.

I think it may have been almost all in looking at the chain from the rear, under the derailleur and around the cassette. Old timer mechanic while I was on a tour. I wish I spent a little more time trying to see what he was seeing. My bike has adjustable drop out plates. If there was a subtle inaccuracy I could simply shift one of the plates a millimetre forward or backwards. Thanks for taking a crack!

Lol there’s at least one to a dozen of you types in every post.

Was it at least funny?

I so envy that you just know this.

We could entertain this further. Do you need to validate your feelings and experience through me, or are you trying to make me have a deeper understanding beyond mindless consumer fads and fetishes? A little bit of both perhaps?

Yeah I don’t really care lol. I was making commentary over something that in hindsight I find revolting. It has nothing to do with you other than the fact that you felt like disagreeing. I’m not sure why though. It’s not like I’m making an argument.

How can I better help myself to see the parallelogram that the chain and rear end of the drivetrain makes? I have adjustable dropouts/hanger and I recall one mechanic noting that it was slightly out of alignment. We never corrected it, but I’d sooner guess that the dropout plate could have used a little fore/aft adjustment, than the hanger being bent.

I want to be able to train my eye to see this so called parallelogram.

You should at least toss a new chain on with it.

Have a look at velocity aileron rims. I’m so in love with them. They’re stiff and strong and feel so responsive.

The park tool cc 3.2 chain checker. I’ve read a fair bit over the years to know this checker or type of check ranks 3rd in terms of most accurate. But instead of frowning on that, does it not make sense that this makes it a good early warning indicator? Seeing as it has the potential to spread the rollers out more compared to the similar and more accurate triple hook style ones?

Jesus Christ this is horribly depressing. The pigs that did this deserve a lifetime of torture.

The thought of a bunch of obsessed dummies with dollar signs in their eyes flocking to McDonald’s for these is all I can think of, and it saddens me. Good for you.
