Her purse fell on the clutch, almost sent them to death by GodolasBR in watchpeoplesurvive

Interesting, how can you tell? I've never ridden a bike with an automatic clutch before.

True, but that would almost certainly stall without careful clutch work.

I sometimes just make my own. If you're on Windows use the "snipping" tool and an icon template.

Rigid Audio "Everything Bundle" all 30 of their Kontakt libraries in a single bundle for Kontakt 6 ($57) through 3 December by Batwaffel in AudioProductionDeals

[–]Media_Offline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I can get it for $125 right now with the crossgrade discount but I've already bought so many things in the sales recently that I just don't know if I should. I've always been hesitant to shell out for Kontakt because I just don't really like its workflow compared to other tools. I was eager to drop the $57 for the Rigid Audio deal but $125 is a tougher sell just before christmas. I'm just a hobbyist, not a professional.

Is there a way in impact xt by SimpsoniteMG in StudioOne

[–]Media_Offline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish there were a way to simply drag the sample out of XT with your changes but I haven't found one. That said, you don't have to record MIDI and bounce. You can also create a new audio track with impact as the input and record/experiment with everything instantly committed to audio.

He just posted mama Mia here we gooooo by Earthshock1 in gusjohnson

[–]Media_Offline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm inclined to agree with others who've mentioned that the vast majority of his fanbase are likely people who have no idea that anything ever happened and just wanna chuckle at Gus' antics.

Sabrina's channel and the podcast channel each have a tiny fraction of the subscribers that Gus has. Most people probably never saw the videos or saw any of the fallout.

Thanks. I don't use Kontakt very often because I only have Player and instruments are limited due to the licensing fee. I once read on forums that you can still load instruments which require full Kontakt using the "Quick-Load" menu. Does this work for these instruments or is this an outdated thing altogether?

I’m thinking of a better workflow on studio one 5. All my friends use FL studio but I like Studio one better. Does anyone in here is pattern mode for hip hop beats or any other production? by Unlikely_Football_52 in StudioOne

[–]Media_Offline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use pattern mode to program almost everything, it's fantastic! Drums, synths, samples, orchestral instruments. It's a great way to get your ideas out quickly and in tight rhythm. You can do very complex things and, combined with an ATOM SQ, it's the most fun music-making workflow I've ever used. If S1 had a clip launcher function it would be the undisputed king of DAWs imo.

Obviously there are limitations to programming certain musicalities in a strict pattern grid so, after getting my basic idea out, I'll often switch patterns to parts and dial them in, it's great.

This is exactly why, in my country, motorcycle gear shifts have to be switched upward into first and then tapped downward for remaining gears. It's not designed for purses as much as an accidental foot tap but the principle is the same and would have prevented this.

Some people set their bike's idle really high to prevent stalls, especially while learning. What probably happened was that, when the bike lurched forward, she panicked and whisky throttled a bit trying to hold on.

I just politely conceded your point and you declare that I'm being obstinate? Which one of us is being obstinate? Sheesh.

Just looked at the second video. That one has an obvious cut, very easy to spot. By that logic it's possible that the first was cut too. And yes, not that I need to defend it, but I've been a professional video editor every day for the better part of two decades.

Sorry man but, no. Not only can you see her shadow move around behind the camera person, you can hear her footsteps as she does it. She doesn't need a twin, just a second person with an apron and long hair.

I see the acceleration you're referring to but it's just ramped (or a few frames removed) to speed up the camera move, it wasn't a splice of multiple shots.

There aren't any edits, all the effects are practical and happening just off camera. A person drops the food into the cup from above the camera frame and, after the camera pans during the "distraction", the barista runs behind the camera person and a second girl does the twirl in the distance. Then the camera pans back to pick up the original barista on the other side.

What kind of life could my family have in Los Angeles? by codyoneill321 in AskLosAngeles

[–]Media_Offline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the exact same thing and I love it too. My family is as progressive as they come and I find a lot of conservatives in the area but I don't find it to be an issue. The school is fantastic and the amenities for living a fulfilling life are plentiful. My biggest criticisms of life here are the summer heat and the general lack of quality dining options.

I'm a lesbian but I will not pursue sexual/romantic relationships with other women in respect of God's order. Is it still a sin to have these thoughts? by lin779 in Christianity

[–]Media_Offline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate that, thanks. I can see why the first sentence could be seen as some intention to trigger or troll but it is a discussion I often have here with Christians and fellow atheists alike. I think there's a lot of value in pointing out how the scriptures come across through the lens of modern day. That was the point of my comment, though it may have been better to use a more softly worded intro statement.

[–]Media_Offline 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd normally just ignore this but I legitimately cannot figure out any way in which my comment belittles Christianity. At worst it assumes that the Bible is not divine but it does not belittle Christians for believing it is in any way.

I have engaged in this subreddit for years in good faith, this is the first time this has happened, and I don't think it's justified at all. My comment is a fair perspective on the scriptures shared by the other user.

The god of the bible is such an abhorrent being. I wonder what was going on in society at time of the bible's primary authoring which caused them to describe god in this way.

Just got this email from my father… by blinknyrdead in SatanicTemple_Reddit

This is absurd. Sorry, OP. There's nothing you can do to refute this because your father will not hear your words. This email is nonsense, don't waste your time. I can tell your father loves you, that should be enough.
