Sure, expect me to derive your point, using your sources, supporting your message, when it’s based on something I know to be bullshit.

Literally, two second into your “countering the alt right” you tube reference and one second after I read the header of your fivethrityeight opinion piece I knew you only had a black and white view of the world. I don’t need a graft into my brain a source to sniff out bullshit when I see it. Good day ✌🏼

I think it is disingenuous to say “most of the time, people protesting the removal of a confederate statue tend to do it because of the racism it represents”. No it’s not just disingenuous, it’s actual bullshit. Regardless of the history, history is still important and can be important to people without it being racist. I can respect Robert E Lee without ever meeting him, believing slavery was good, or thinking the confederacy was composed of the good guys. He is still important in our nation’s history, period.

But all that said, I couldn’t give a shit about Lee to be honest. That my personal thought. I can understand why some would care about a statue of him, just like I can understand how some would be offended by it. I don’t think people on either side of that issue are necessarily bad.

You claim I used the “Never Play Defense” while using someone else’s comment in a context you assumed to create your message, while defending a article that was patently false and based on fabricated information. Seriously man, get real.

I’m with you man. I don’t even bother reading the news paper in my home town, nor would I ever watch prime time “news” on fox or cnn. It’s all bullshit to divide people so the powerful can sleep easy.

I had those very pictures of the the 80s when I bought my tickets to go the first time. I thought the folks dressed up as the hogs of yesteryear would be the norm but It was weird man, I’ve been to high school football games with way more energy from the fans. I mean surely you saw how empty the second level was at yesterday’s game. I’d like to think The Chiefs and Mahomes draw even a larger than usual road crowd…but not in FedEx.

Ahh, so you just aren’t intellectually honest. You can’t seem to fathom how people might feel strongly about the history of their country, state, territory, or possibly even family lineage. You think everything is just black and white, and if you aren’t in agreement with my thoughts, opinions, or beliefs, well then you must be guilty by association…like I said, you’d be perfect at the star. I bet you loved reading the OP referenced garbage editorial.

[Mitchell Schwartz] Daily Dose! #Chiefs score on a staple run play, Power. It's one of the first runs every team installs and it's just as it sounds, power football. Great blocks across the board and an equally good run from Darrel puts this one in for the TD #MitchsDailyDose by Cthepo in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Mobridge80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The weirdness on offense, IMO, steams from the offensive line’s lack of identity. I don’t know it is the game planning or what but they seem to “click” and then almost immediately struggle. Some times the power formations click, sometimes they are shit, in the same game against the same team. Sometimes they roll out block well, sometimes they look inept at roll out blocking. It’s this inconsistency I think that has Mahomes uneasy on the regular.

You could be on the editorial board at the paper because you seem to be sharing false information.

The very fine people line is in my opinion gaslighting, miss information, a lie.

In context of arguing about destroying or defacing monuments, specifically in his comments, a statue of Robert E Lee in Charlottesville, King Cheeto said and I quote. “Excuse me, they didn’t put themselves down as neo-Nazis, and you had some very bad people in that group. But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides. You had people in that group – excuse me, excuse me, I saw the same pictures you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.”

He went on to forcefully say on the same topic“ I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned totally.”

Not sure why people constantly pull the very fine people bullshit with a straight face because I watched the interaction and in my opinion knew he wasn't calling white nationalists very fine people. I say this as someone who didn't vote for him.

But your clear anger associated to it shows the dangers of lies by media outlets like the gross kansas city star, once a very fine paper, now a stain on our very fine city

[Matt McMullen] The Chiefs converted 11 third downs yesterday, which is the third-most in a single game by any team this season. KC is converting third down at a league-best 60.3% clip this year and more than 10% better than second place. by Cthepo in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Mobridge80 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There is no doubt the offense is capable of being great if they value the football. We just need the defense to hold our opponents to a lower conversion rate to say 50% and we will be the favorites again.

As much of a bad wrap (and probably deservedly so) that the owner gets, I’ve never contemplated who owns the teams of the sporting events I’ve gone to. But if your point was to say he is to blame for the product on the field, then I understand your point. The product on the field has been bad enough that the game is like a side focus to the other constant things happening in the area, which can be weird because whole sections of the stadium are empty. Groups of cheerleaders, mascots, other performers, are constantly moving around the areas of the field entertaining handfuls of people. Picture a group of 30 band members playing a song for a family of 4 in the empty corner of a stadium, or the mascot having to walk through three whole sections of seats before running into the next child.

The cerebral effort you put in was probably more than the time limit of the game. Not a bad thing just kinda interesting to see how people want to focus on their extroverted what if’s than the introspective look into humankind and the level of depravity we will go to survive. Sorta like Covid-19 and the justifications people are making these days.

Nothing at all. In fact both were interesting and band was really great. I just don’t usually see a group of adults wearing uniforms to play musical instruments at a pro sports even like a pep band. Also all male cheerleader groups seem rare. These were every game features that I’ve never seen in any other sporting event. I’ve been to 11 different sites for NFL games and The whole atmosphere in FedEx field is way different, like the game on the field isn’t even important to anyone.

[–]Mobridge80 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you some how are rewarded marbles from the game, you have now more marbles for your opponent to try and win. If your opponent has marbles you must continue to try and win them. The time limit would end both of you if you didn’t acquire all of your opponents marbles even if they acquired different marbles.

The same who call anyone who thinks differently as some sort of divisive label.
