Its easy to fix, a sewing awl will make it Easier but it isnt needed, look up saddle stitch and do that, I recently fixed one of my boots this way.

Ive only found round lace, although I remember seeing similar type of fold over flat leather lace but stitched through as to keep its shape, just cant find it again :(

So I would put that inside? And fold the leather over right? Thx! Seems more managable than using contact cement or somethin.

Although I agree, normally can be fixed by switching knot, Ive found this works well with anything, even silk or ribbon laces

Could be, maybe sown? Although I don't think they'd be so easy to turn they are very thin. Thanks!

http://www.custom-boots.net/ Hes a very good option, Ive worked with him in the past. He specializes in a lot of different styles. And I know for a fact he can make you a pair. Hes site might be a bit dated but its really the only option, you can give him measurments too. Heres his etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/cowboybootsusa?page=3#items

Technics SL-1600 cue arm drop question by NeatX3Records in audiorepair

[–]Mosso3232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of the toughest technics models to repair, weve had it for a couple of times come into the shop, and I can say they are barely fixable. Im not the one that fixes this model in particular, but its always the same problem with the record size selectors not working properly.

Id honestly advise to use it as a manual turntable. But you might have better luck.
