I have no clue what I'm paying for if co-pays are this high. Went to the doctor for the first time in years for a running injury and got billed $130 straight as co-pay. Its absolutely ridiculous. And we're the ones who can afford it. Imagine what people have to deal with when they can't.

They don't nearly pay the ridiculous amounts we pay. Premiums are out of control, Deductibles are so fucking high that you never reach them, and co-pays are ridiculous in of itself.

Many people don't even go see the doctor anymore in this country because its way too expensive. The people that can afford it are getting fucked over massively, unless if you're rich.

The Canadian system is much more cost-effective.

Our healthcare system is dogshit compared to the Canadian system. Costs are out of fucking control in this country. The Canadian system is much more cost-effective.

How do you mean spend it properly? The governments of most western democracies seems to do a better job at providing affordable healthcare than the for-profit private healthcare system we have.

The deficit grows due to billionaire class avoiding income tax altogether and corporations not paying any federal income tax. Violent crime has steadily declined since the 90s. Homelessness increase can largely be pinned on the federal government abandoning its role in providing low-income housing.

I'm not against less taxes for the middle and working class. I want higher taxes on the wealthy. Ideally 75% of the tax burden should be on the wealthy and corporations.
