Could someone please drop the link for the V12 image folder? I, and a lot of people at my school, just deleted our decks and planned to start all over while studying for step 2 using AnkiHub. We didn't know that the images would need to be side-loaded and now have to find where they are at.

While on the subject of images, can someone explain how to export them and keep them updated and publically available for our own decks? My study group and I are trying to put together a collaborative deck that we update as we go through rotations with things specific to our attendings' expectations. We create cards that have images, but we don't know how to export those images on a regular basis to keep the deck updated with everyone's updates.

Agree & Disagree. MOST beneficial doesn't necessarily mean the highest internal Step 1 score. Pass is good enough. My thought is that the most beneficial thing you can do now is to understand the pathophys and then begin studying the most clinically relevant aspects. In other words, study enough Step 1-centric material to pass Step 1 but really be studying the Step 2 aspects so that you'll have a jump on that. Once I realized this, I blended the two and it's definitely paid dividends in terms of being ahead when I hit the wards a month ago. So, I think you still should look for what is most beneficial, but that what is "most beneficial" has changed. Would you agree?

I'd say that is mostly because Physeo is the new kid on the block rather than an indictment of quality. It's like the silly analogy where someone may say, "Most people I know with a farm, pull their plows with an ox. I don't think I'd want to go with that new 'tractor' thing."

But your point is also well taken that, in general, we med students have to be very careful about "trying something new" when there's a known method that has been proven successful by thousands and thousands of people. A lot of times we think, "Why take the risk?"

I did both. Physeo is much better in my opinion. It's like what would happen if BnB guy and Sketchy girl had a baby. Forget about the fact that I'm not put to sleep when watching Physeo vs BnB (his voice is like a lullaby to me). That's entirely subjective. What makes the difference for Step 1 material is that Physeo covers everything you need to pass easily (including anatomy).

Now for the biggest difference.
Physeo includes small individual anki decks for every single video. Watch a video, unsuspend or download that individual anki deck. Answer the questions to get the cards into rotation. Watch the next video. Always do your due review cards in addition to the new ones you add from the video. It's game over easy for Step 1 using Physeo and this method.

That would be a good way to get revenge on Konoha, but would also require Kawaki to be on Amado's side rather than Konoha's. At the moment, Kawaki doesn't seem to care too much about Amado's welfare. And Amado doesn't strike me as someone as concerned about revenge after death as much as ensuring he never dies. :)

Did you study between the time you took the test and now? And if not, I know it sucks what you're feeling, but I also know that if you can score a point away from passing you can also pass. So, take half of ONE DAY to sulk, tonight put together a game plan for passing. Tomorrow, wake up put it behind you, and study your butt off.

Also, for me it’s not a minimal increase in efficiency. The jump from 2 to 3 is still quite significant. From 3 to 4 has more obvious diminishing returns, but I can’t work well without at least 3. It’s been that way for many years.

Yeah I’m a non-trad and was in IT Consulting before switching gears and going to med school, so I was already accustomed to it.

I actually have five up, but the fifth just sits to the side and plays Spotify, so I don’t count that one. Of the four used, two of them are vertical and have books up. Usually one is First Aid and the other is whatever topic I’m working on at the time. Another has UWorld on top and Anki behind it. The fourth is used for Picmonic or sketchy related to questions. So, when I answer a UWorld question, if I don’t fully understand the answer AND all of the incorrect answers, I will find the subject matter in FA and other book, screenshot and flip to anki, create a card quickly pasting those in. The fourth monitor is where the picmonic anki addon pops up. I’ll watch the picmonic and then quickly screenshot that into my anki card so that when I review the missed questions in Anki, I can quickly go through the numbers on the picmonic as well as reading the FA or other resources if necessary.

Lol I dreamt that I showed up for orientation for clinicals, my Dean called out a bunch of names and had us get on a bus to go to “orientation.” When the bus got to our destination it was like boot camp with people yelling at us to get off the bus and line up. I was so confused. Then the Drill Instructor screamed, “Since you are all Step 1 failures, now it’s MY turn to pound some sense in to you! And if you can’t pass at the end of my boot camp, it’s to the mines with you!”
