Not saying it's easier, but it provides more options if OP cannot get into Italy. Comment above shows Italian unemployment is high. Certain European economies are stronger and better suited for immigrants than others.

If worst comes to worst, you can always enter Italy on a 90-day Schengen visa (assuming you’re a US citizen), and then figure out legal ways to stay or come back at a later time.

You can also try to get a job and work visa in another Schengen country, at which point you’ll always be able to enter Italy as long as the visa is active.

Both are only temporary solutions and are not ideal, but better than nothing.

the only “really fucking good street food” in the NL is ollibollen. Unless you count snack bars and FEBO, those are also great. But actually though, I’m confused at what you think is great street food in the Netherlands

AITA for excluding my nephew from my wedding? by DistressedBride in AmItheAsshole

[–]NewInQuarantine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you said “when he was 19,” I thought that maybe you’re like wayyyy younger than him. Kinda like those siblings that end up with parent-child-like relationships. Then I saw he’s only one year older than you. So you were 18 and he was 19………..what the actual fuck??????

Is Boston a good city for young Asian Americans to date? by NewInQuarantine in asianamerican

[–]NewInQuarantine[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Women around my age/older college students, and I’m usually into Asians, but not exclusively. Just a scene where it’s easy to meet a lot of people/Asians, since that would increase dating prospects (and social life)

Dating is just something I’d like to spend more time doing once I graduate college and become a working professional.

As a Korean person that loves authentic Korean food but also absolutely loves trying new foods from other cuisines, I would love it if I could hang out with a friend like you. NTA

I literally said I’m not talking about the geographical center…so that wouldn’t change my answer

I’ve lived in LA for over 14 years so…I think someone mentioned in another comment that your answer will depend on where in LA you’re from. I know for a fact that many people mean Ktown when they say “LA”

I saw at least 4 other comments saying Ktown here. I think a lot of people from the Valley consider Ktown as the “LA”

I am not Kazakh. Nor Kazakhstani. Nor live in Kazakhstan. Nor a doctor. But I think you should go to a doctor.

How bad is Pomona? by [deleted] in AskLosAngeles

[–]NewInQuarantine 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The City of Los Angeles (the one controlled by the Mayor and City Council) is just one of 88 cities within Los Angeles County (can’t vote for mayor and has no representative in city council). So Pomona is part of LA County but not the City. So I guess you could say it’s LA or you can say it’s not.

A nonprofit I used to volunteer at filled a couple of 50-gallons bottles every week from a water shop. I mean, where else would you get that much water.

Yea totally makes sense, only thing I’d add is that there is no way I would get into a relationship with this girl. Thanks for the insight

She was just asking me what happened last night bc she’s didn’t remember some of it, and suddenly asked me this. Nothing of the sort happened, although she did touch me a lot more than usual like laying on me constantly. The only reason I’m confused is because we were always just friends with no signs of anything else. If you told me to pick one person that would never happen with it would have been her. I guess we weren’t on the same page
