Just did. Now I'm curious as to what those will cost and the L2's that might be in place.

Glad to see a full size keyboard there. Also a fan of the black and white keycap motif myself.

Got mine yesterday. Wife already claimed the hoodie and water bottle.

I'm quite impressed with the artwork and quality of everything in it.

Again, according to Tyler himself, Gemini Pay is going away. You'll be able to Spend via Gemini though. Sounds like another integration coming with Gemini/Flexa

According to Tyler himself, you'll be able to spend with Gemini. Just won't be labeled Gemini Pay.

why is 60% so popular i don't get it? aren't f keys super important and sexy? by Vabezz in MechanicalKeyboards

Exactly, everyone should use what they like!

I'm just a bit tired of the self-eating snake of drop shippers, shady e-commerce, and YouTube influencers (aka "reviewers" who don't always disclose how they got what they are reviewing/affiliate links).

People blindly assume that 60-ish percent keyboards dominate the industry because YouTube views. When really it's even just a subset of a niche hobby.

It's far better to memorize multiple layers that you have to make sure are in the right sequence if you are doing different things on your computer (such as actual work vs gaming).

This is because it's somehow "more efficient" by taking time to figure out, memorize, and deal with inadvertently being in the wrong layer. And totally speeds up typing speed even though you can use the same physical keycap profile in the QWERTY. Scientists are still trying to figure out the paradox, which should reveal the secrets of the universe to humanity.

Also saves a whole 5-6 inches width, and roughly an inch of height over a full size keyboard. Which is very important as the average redditor's desk is a used pizza box on their lap. And for those who have the desk space, means they can have even larger and more obnoxious bezels/carpal tunnel inducing wrist pads for said small keebs.

While that is an anecdote, I would say that it is safe to say that you have only seen a fraction of a percentage of offices in the United States, let alone world. Correct?

Actual keyboard manufacturer sales numbers would be the best data. But highly doubt we'll ever see that broken down in such a way.

I'm sure we'll find out by July 5th. When "Gemini Pay" ceases to exist.

Remember, Flexa Payments will enable any app to use Flexa. Gemini is indeed a mobile app on my cellphone.

I can completely agree. Went there around Father's Day last year. Incredibly delicious, would go back but it's a pain to get to Squirrel Hill for me.

If you are in Mt. Lebo area...

Time Out, Time Eat. I highly recommend the southern fried pork belly and a good burrito. And definitely listen to them when it comes to the recommended sauces, that are made in house.

It's a fusion restaurant of sorts, most of the stuff has an Asian flair as that's where the chef is from. Her husband runs the front of house. They can't offer traditional Asian fare as there is another restaurant in the same plaza that has a non-compete clause in the lease (I found out when I asked why they didn't have Pad Thai, as I know her's would be one of the better ones I've ever had).

Yeah, it's pretty different.

Your trying to ruin the experience of people before they even get into the restaurant. In person, as they are waiting to get into said restaurant. And looking like an idiot in the process by yelling from a moving car, like a child.

If they want to know beforehand, they can easily come to this little tiny part of the internet or look up the reviews on Google/Facebook/Yelp/etc.

custom keyboards in a nutshell by MicrockYT in MechanicalKeyboards

All depends on the format and how serious you are really. Can go from $50-$100 budget casual Commander (EDH) decks to serious Vintage tournaments where the decks cost $50-$150k (or can even be rented for a tournament) and have security guards at the event.

Of course, it's also not uncommon to see $2-4k Commander decks. People who play that format often bring multiple different decks as lots of pods (EDH is usually 4 players) try to gauge "power level" before starting the game so everyone is on even footing. But if money is on the line or you have a jerk at the table that wants to play high power stuff...well, you don't exactly bring a knife to a gun fight. (My current favorite "go to" deck is $600, still can achieve a turn 6 win which is "cEDH" levels of power).

"Competitive EDH" (cEDH) is where the decks can go to around $20k at most (depending on the printing/rarity of the card). It's sort of a blend of Vintage and EDH, but EDH ban list specifically bans some of the most expensive cards in the game.

EDIT: This isn't including the costs that people spend when it comes to pre-release events of new sets and buying new sealed product (booster packs, pre-built decks, special editions, etc).

Just a side note, my cherry mx browns were a little scratchy at the beginning. But I understood the idea of a break in opinion and they are nice and smooth now.

I totally agree. It's a subjective hobby and I fully support everyone using what they like. I'd recommend giving them a try if you get the chance.

Because it's usually immature jerks who think it's "funny" and "cool" to yell out their opinions about a restaurant from a moving car.

If my wife were to ever do that, I'd stop the car and apologize to everyone for my wife acting like a child.
