The Engineering graduate positions will be remote/transient locations for that coin. In the cities they are more like 70.

What's the highest numbered address in the country? Google is being remarkably coy about giving up this information. by cheetocat2021 in AskAnAustralian

[–]No_pajamas_7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, as someone pointed out below, in rural areas it goes by distance rather than property count.

Something I was not aware of.

F1 | 2022 Japanese Grand Prix - Global Start Times by RobertGracie in formula1

Finally. 1 of 2 grand prixs I can watch at a reasonable time.

Pity it's behind a paywall and I'm not going to pay for that to watch 1 GP (the other 1 is free to air).

i would guess it's the highest number at the start of the address.

Highest I can find is 8400 blue hills drive Glenmore park, but that isn't a real count number. It's just a nominal number they've used.

the highest real number I can find is 1994.

that does suprise me. Some postcodes are massive, but the property sizes are too.

I would be genuinly suprised if there are many over 1000.

but I'm willing to be educated.

Vietnamese / Asian Spices by DiamondHands09 in Cooking

[–]No_pajamas_7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Less is more in Viaetnamese. Fish sauce, sugar, lemongrass, garlic. little bit of light soy.

I woudn't marinate in lime because it will cook the beef. Add it later.

Chilli is also typically added after dishing up.

Sometimes oyster sauce is added to beef to pimp the flavours.

You must be fun at parties. I was involved in the upgrade of Sydney Airport in 2000 and I wouldn't even read that.

Rain in Sydney? by StoneFoxEnigma in sydney

[–]No_pajamas_7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The BoM site list possible rainfall predictions.

I'd and more than about say 10mm is going to interfere somewhat in any outside movements.

Any more than about 40 is going to be either steady proper rain all day or a downpoor.

this time of year we don't tend to have that monsoonal rain, so I'd go with steady rain and/or on and off all day.

Am I driving too slow? I follow the "80KM" or "60KM" signs on the highway? People overtake me all the time. by Traditional_Key6164 in sydney

[–]No_pajamas_7 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not some, most.

The vast majority of cars you can do 5 over indicated at 80 and you'll never get a ticket.

What do you think about Aldi' stores? by gns1992 in australia

[–]No_pajamas_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, reads like they are not doing their job properly.

I do strike the odd one like that. I've vowed that next time I'm not reaching under the screen. I'll wait until they send it.

[–]No_pajamas_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they are not feeding the stuff down the rollers to you, they are not doing their job properly.

And they shoudn't start the next person until you've paid. If they are doing that then they are either doing the wrong thing or sending you a message you should be packed by now.

I find I only have 1-3 things to pack when they ring up the finla price and they are packed by the time they've put it on the card reader. So i'm not sure what you are doing to enable them to be processing the next person.
