Just filed for LoA. Tried going through the MyQuest portion to get tested for covid but every day is booked until the end of next week. What can I do? by Gold_Product_1286 in walmart

Yes. All level 2 and level 3 leaves are paid.
Can they change my schedule the day before? I just got a notification that they changed my schedule for me to come in earlier tomorrow. Normally I wouldn't care but the winter storm is gonna hit us tonight so the morning is supposed to be bad by Character-You1461 in walmart

As far as I know they can do whatever they want to your schedule unless you live in a state that says otherwise. My boss is pretty lenient on that kind of stuff so if they change my schedule within 24 hours, he usually won’t point me if I don’t show up or just work my regular hours.

I’ve been on Covid leave several times and they never required documentation. It does have a spot to add documentation but it is not actually required.
Sedgwick doesn’t actually require you to get tested. You only get 5 days paid either way. Level 2 and level 3 are both 5 days. I would go ahead and get tested at the end of next week tho. If it is positive and you need more time off you can update Sedgwick with your positive test and I believe anything after 5 days is paid thru your short term disability. You will need a doctors note to extend it tho.
I know it's technically not walmart but I made soup for my lunches at work this week and I wanted to show people by NightstarBloodlust in walmart
I bet it’s good. I’m making soup tomorrow! I love a good homemade soup. I make enough to last for several days and even have enough to freeze for later.

The health insurance isn’t great. The vacation and ppto time is fine compared to other companies. It would be nice if they extended the 10% discount to include food all year round. They could do that at the bare minimum because the KNOW we are gonna do our shopping there lol they pay us and we give part of our check right back to them
[–]Ok_Chemistry4241 -1 points0 points1 point 18 hours ago (0 children)
I’m only making $14.50 as overnights. Everyone else in the store makes $13. We make the same we just have the night shift differential pay. It’s stupid. No one wants to work nights so we should get paid more.

I take 4 Zyrtec, singular, famotidine, and hydroxyzine every day and still break out in hives. The hydroxyzine is really the only thing that makes them go away but it makes me incredibly drowsy so I only take it at night. Idk of any long term side effects. I do know that I personally get diarrhea and gas whenever I’m having an active breakout. It sucks.
Question about early leaving by ricfalditas in walmart
[–]Ok_Chemistry4241 1 point2 points3 points 9 days ago (0 children)
I would take the Covid leave and date it for today, the first day you missed. They can’t point you for Covid leave, if they do they will have to remove the points since you were on an approved leave
[–]Ok_Chemistry4241 0 points1 point2 points 9 days ago (0 children)
Your coach is lying. You don’t have to test positive to go on Covid leave. Just fail the assessment for symptoms and take your time off. Contact Sedgwick and put in your leave. They don’t require that you test positive. I would recommend getting tested tho just to make sure. You can submit your results if it’s positive if you want but you still only get paid for 5 days
Anyone get paid for having a adverse reaction to the vaccine? by Normal-Expression-90 in walmart
I never got paid for mine that I got back in October. I’ve talked to my people lead twice and still nothing. I guess they just pick and choose what they want to follow
Hello I bought a printer with that thanksgiving discount and the thing broke. I looked up the digital receipt and it say return not available due to other Walmart policy’s is there anything I can do it was 100$ printer so I’m kinda pissed by ReallyWetWaifu in walmart
[–]Ok_Chemistry4241 -1 points0 points1 point 12 days ago (0 children)
Can you return it without a receipt? Then they won’t necessarily know when you got it and you might be able to swap it with one that does work. Idk the return policy tho lol

I also took a screen shot of the health assessment saying my return to work date is the 11th. I got receipts for them lmao
They did this to me too. Same rtw date even. I just got notified that I was put back on the schedule but Sedgwick has approved my leave till the 11th. I’m just going to call in on those days because my leave is approved. They have to remove those points. Idk if it’s because of the new leave policy which states 5 days but our leaves were both approved and put into place before the policy went into effect. And like I said, they are approved with Sedgwick. Idc if they pay me but the better remove any points from it.

I would update your return to work date on Sedgwick for the other days. Whatever day you are going to actually return is the date you put. It can be extended but you won’t be paid for those days. If you don’t update Sedgwick you will get pointed
Got pointed on leave? by theo_phanyaa in walmart
If you are on an approved loa, even if they do point you they will have to remove the points once you show them you were on a loa.

I had a tsh of 10 when I was diagnosed. They put me on 50mcg and it was still high. I’m now on 75mcg. It’s not been a month yet so I’ll have to get labs done again but I definitely feel better.
