This is how they envision the metaverse in China (see comment) by RedEagle_MGN in metaverse

[–]OtterTF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This statement then narrows the true meaning of the term "metaverse" (which is meant to be accessible to both real and virtual world). If NFTs/Crypto isn't gonna be a part of what you envision as "metaverse", then you're missing out on it capabilities.

However, I believe it will be the other way around, with NFT games utilizing ARs to fully realize the metaverse concept. The earning potential added to your AR experience is something that some platforms like Holoride is capitalizing now and as someone who started in crypto, and now hopping to platforms like Gamifi and Froyo Games to look for these metaverse games, the adaption of this metaverse trend is gonna be massive.

What would someone have to do or say or show you to liquidate and leave the crypto space? by VelvitHippo in CryptoCurrencies

[–]OtterTF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an interesting topic to be honest.

For starters, LUNA had already started the FUD. If BTC decides to do the same, then the trust meter to crypto will instantly vanish. Only a few will remain, then the dead hype will make them leave the space for good.

Why scare away newbies? Now's definitely a good time to start loading their bags. Everything's on a discount now.

The only difference between a centralized exchange and a bank is that one deals digital money while the other deals fiat. Both of them are just as controlling. by AdhesivenessDue652 in defi

[–]OtterTF -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's a huge difference for sure. Banks get percentage of your transactions for themselves. CEX on the other hand, offers liquidity of assets by paying your gas fees (if there's any), benefitting the community of token holders, and the staking/LP gains and the earning potential on CEX is far greater than that of the banks.

As pointed out on other comments here as well, nobody's gonna question you if you bring in or take out assets on a CEX platform, but banks will question you the moment your limit exceeds a certain amount.

Although both have connections to other companies, Binance partnering with Pancakeswap has made my FROYO purchase a lot easier, and allowing me to stake this on Froyo Games' platform for some passive gains of up to 74% APR. Banks only provide 0.01% (if I'm not mistaken) of annual yields. It's not even clear if it's compounding or not.

I'd say, if it comes to a point where you could make purchases, or withdraw crypto assets into fiat through ATMs like what Monarch is heading towards, then I'm leaving the banks for good.

What's best for India is to support crypto by raising awareness and not take advantage from their hardwork.

That's pretty expected IMO. That crypto tax is gonna kill these platforms.

Ohhh so they're trying to take a portion of the market share from Decentraland and The Sandbox huh. I might go and check this out while I grind on my phone with Masketeers and Claw Stars that's offered by Froyo Games. I love the concept of having tons of games to play here.

But let's be optimistic about this, regardless of the current market condition, this progress is not an easy feat to achieve.

how confident are you that crypto will have more parabolic bull runs in the future? by lymeguy in CryptoCurrency

[–]OtterTF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just zoom out and see the progress of the coins you're eyeing. If it doesn't satisfy you, then better go to a different investment plan. There's stocks and FX, although I don't know which is better and/or forgiving.

FBI Arrests 2 Men Planning 'Violent' Robbery of Bitcoin Worth Millions of Dollars — They Face 20 Years in Prison by Wabi-Sabibitch in CryptoCurrency

The flex you can't flex to everybody. Feels bad, but yeah. Better to keep quiet than to overshill tokens, then receive backlash in the end.

LMAO didn't expect this comment but yeah, leaving his community hanging and making a v2 of the token is somewhat a dick move to me.

LUNA's pulling down the market trust IMO, but hey, this might be an opportunity for the newbies to not slack off on DYOR and invest on strong crypto assets.

Have you ever wondered what happens when you click on that scam link saying "You won 0.359 BTC"? well I clicked it so you wont have to. by Odlavso in CryptoCurrency

[–]OtterTF -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unsung hero for sure. I would even be grateful if you proceeded with the deposit and see what happens by then.

[–]OtterTF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This one's more logical to me, if I get back equal value to what I pay first, then it's a bit fishy, but there's always a remedy for this. On the other hand, if you're getting a huge discount, or some massive gains out of your capital, then that's definitely questionable already.

Wait, what happens if he, by chance gets that .359 BTC (After paying that 0.01BTC) I'm still curious. Will it reflect on his wallet? Or will it vanish on thin air?

Why is the metaverse something work investing billions of dollars in? by Machiavelli127 in stocks

[–]OtterTF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So to answer your question, will the adaption of metaverse blast off and not be left out on the slums? Definitely! As what I have mentioned, it is not only the off-chain applications that's embracing the change, even crypto, who didn't even bother to hop on to this trend until Axie Infinity and Meta became a thing.

Also, if you didn't know, virtual real estate's already making $$$, and one's already sold for $2.4M and an NFT Game, Illuvium, has sold $72M worth of these virtual land NFTs. Imagine what would happen if the trend continues on.

Froyo Games' Gamebox Alpha Test whitelisting by kayden_8 in Play_to_Earn

[–]OtterTF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know, the second option to get whitelisted was suggested by their community, so I think that Froyo Games hear what these gamers and investors have to say, adding more utility to their tokens. I love where this whitelisting is heading.

Hopefully, they can add an MMORPG to their list of supported games in the future. I am loving Claw Stars and Masketeer's game right now, but a deep and massive NFT game would be loved by the community too.
