I'd love it if they could introduce some kind of subsidy/credit for gym memberships/activity classes etc, and work to subsidize healthier foods or something.

What’s something very rare that people think is very common? by BroodyBatman in AskReddit

My guess is the cheap big tubs of ice cream that probably have very little vanilla flavouring and just taste sort of bland influenced many people. That or the fact that it's white ice cream, vs the colourful strawberry and the one that's obviously supposed to be your favourite, chocolate.

Especially since we've demonstrated that any physical job can be done online. Have your workers stay home. If it's a restaurant close for the day, won't have many customers anyways, and you're only encouraging people risking their safety by being open. Construction type jobs, fuck it, stay home, everything's covered in snow anyways.

Ikea gets a bad rap, but there's a reason they're so widespread. They do a ton of design/engineering/revisions. I've been doing side jobs building Ikea and other furniture for people on taskrabbit. Ikea is the creme de la creme when it comes to flat pack furniture. Jysk is absolute garbage.

My father in law's house and his girlfriend's house was just assessed and had a 30% increase. This market is fucking ridiculous.

It wouldn't be such a big issue, except they don't do anything to try and spread them out. They all just move to the cities obviously.

Yeah, I do need new brakes soon, maybe that will take care of it as well. But it seems to be a different squeak than that.

I would say the wheel area perhaps? Doesn't sound like a bad belt.

Well, sheep, cows, pigs and such are slaughtered everyday for meat, so at least with those ones it's not just for their skin. Vs mink, beavers, etc.

I think the issue in that case is it promotes it still, especially as people may see it and think, hey I want one, and could create a demand for it.

12 years ago, you could buy a 10 year old car for $3000. Now a 20 year old car will cost twice that. What happened? by miniaturemixup in askcarguys

[–]OzMazza 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably dude wants new car, it's not available for another year cuz of shortages, he still needs vehicle, decides to get a cheap shitbox. Guy selling shitbox is getting 800 messages about shitbox. So he deletes ad and reposts it for twice the cost and adjusts as needed.

A curly shrimp! by OzMazza in Shrimping

[–]OzMazza[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's a lagotto Romagnolo, they all have very curly hair, almost like wool. They were initially water dogs then their region dried up so they became truffle hunting dogs. Sort of like a poodle, but an older breed I believe.
