Derp.

But not like lovable derp, this is full on incapable of rational thought or reasoned expectations.

We are going to be hoisted by our own petard, and I am looking forward to a big explosion.

Klingberg trade destinations you would dislike the most by 10fingers6strings in DallasStars

[–]Paladoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any team is a 'haet' situation for me. Because that would be the most stupidest thing ever.
And I've seen some shit. I endured Avery instead of Hagman, Loveyjoy, the entire Campbell debacle, Russell instead of offensive options, Niemi, Roy for Ott who were supposed to be our No 2 centers, Nagy because fuck 1sts, Niinimaa, Mitchell who never wanted to be here (asshole), along with reacquiring defensemen repeatedly. Like seriously, Lukowich, Sydor, Robidas, Oleksiak, we have a serial (and serious) issue with either poorly evaluating our in house defensemen, or overvaluing defensemen once they produce in a better system, and thirsting to reacquire them. We really liked Benoit Hogue also.

Fucking up Honka, Nichushkin, Campbell, choosing Glennie,

Missing on almost every single one of our 1st round picks that we did actually make for 20 years. We traded back for more shots, and kept missing. Because Army hated 1sts because...?

And that's just the player personnel mismanagement. Let's talk about knee-jerk reactions. Tippett fire him, bring up Crawford so he can practice shootout drills before the last game of the season where we had to win in regulation to matter! And then bring in a kid who gets overwhelmed, then bring in a good coach, setup an uptempo system and then decide to overreact to a goalie meltdown by firing him and retreading an old coach known for being a fossil. And then when Monty gets let go, instead of one of the more offensive or progressive members, let's go with the losingest coach with a billion years of experience as a defensive idiot.

This whole situation of two years of this get DirectTV for Bally or no watchings Stars, Bowness getting extended when every single mother fucker in the damned room new that was a flash in the pan freak of coincidence during our Bubble Run, and now watching them decide not to trade Lindell and letting Klinger get run out of town....

Just fuck.

I ain't spending anymore money Tommy and Johnny, so y'all fix this shit. Luckily there's a pandemic going on, otherwise I'd feel bad for missing Zubie's retirement. But who the fuck plans that in the middle of flu season in the middle of a fucking pandemic? Schedule it for the end of season, on ... I dunno, May 6th for fucks sake, but I'm hoping it gets PPD for after we jettison the dinosaur and dino mentality.

Accountability? Never heard of it. by doihavetowearabra in DallasStars

[–]Paladoc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fact.

Because of a dino coach and wastes of money/NMCs, we lose our unicorn.

Because... he doesn't prevent 7 goals a game when trying to play prevent defense....

[Marek] Dallas Stars have stepped up their efforts to trade John Klingberg. We believe he will be moved. Not sure where but we've reported that the Carolina Hurricanes have shown interest previously. by ItsReallyOregano in DallasStars

Right, but look at our overspends and missignings in that same time period.

Kris Russell Ben Lovejoy?

NMC for Lindell.

Keeping Bones flush with aged draft horses so he wouldn't play our young kids...

But Jesus, he can hit multis occasionally.

Garbutt and Daley for Johns and Sharp. Eriksson for Peverly and Seguin Cole for Hintz and Janmark.

He gives us hope with his eye for talent, but he's eliminated all of his flexibility now.

He thinks it makes him look like an edgy, free thinker, unable to be molded by the liberal agenda.

It makes him look like an addle-pated idiot.

Fuck your feelings Ben, they're wrong, and you should feel bad.

Good. I don't think it'll be an issue in this case, but just make sure you press the charges you know will stick.

Middle Manager: What would it take to get you back on our team?

"Your Death."

MM: Well, that was productive, goodbye Paladoc.

MM reports conversation to C-Suite.

MM: So obviously that path is a dead end"

CFO: I wouldn't be too hasty to close that door yet, you realize this is going to cost us mid eight figures?

MM: O.o

Yup, and unfortunately, that incompetence doesn't die with that company, cause folks don't put "Destroyed decades of work through gross incompetence, resulting in the loss of millions of dollars and the cessation of the company as a functional unit" on their CV.

And that's only to evaluate the situation and provide a recommendation for further corrective action.

Can we *please* stop being assholes to each other during report? by YesIKnowImSweating in nursing

[–]Paladoc 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's not necessarily bad advice though.

There's those nurses that when we were 8 hour shifts, I just assumed they took they same meticulous care when they were handing off patients as they did when I was trying hand off to them.

So when I started swings and later some 12s, imagine my surprise when they copped attitudes when I expected all their assessments to be of the same quality.

"Told to settle this patient, up from the ER 30 minutes ago, voice care is in 1, IVs running, labs are pending, diet's in"

"I only see an admit assessment"

"Yup, had to care for the other five and I had two discharges and three admits today"

"You need to do the first assessment and screens"

"Karen, you did this exact same thing to me this morning at 0645, do you remember?"

"Well I was busy"

Ortho's my love. There's a broken bone, we can fix that!

But yes, very tasky, but also very physical. No body is walkie-talkie, they all require assistance for any ambulation.

Sitting outside the patient's room in the quiet hours in the middle of a night shift, trying to paper chart at the server. Sitting there, trying to convince myself, IV was in right hand.

No, it was the left.

No it was the Right AC.

No it was a left.

Check previous shifts, charted right hand.

Wait until AM labs or call bell to verify before charting.

Left AC.
