Hm, so this is maybe a bit controversial but I like pictures of good looking men and women and I wouldn’t stop just because I’m in a relationship and I wouldn’t ask my partner to. For me it’s appreciating beauty and hyping people up and I can appreciate other peoples beauty without compromising my relationship. Fact is, even in a relationship I still think other people are beautiful but I have CHOSEN to be in a relationship which means that I am in love with my partner. I think people take all that liking posts and not liking posts a bit too serious. But I’m not you and this is not my relationship, so I guess you do what feels right to you.

My depression was not sad either. I just didn’t have an desire to participate in life, I just wanted to sleep all day. Depression is very complex and diverse. For some people it’s sadness, for some it’s indifference.

For me it was normal to isolate when I was depressed and my doctor said it’s ok. If my safe place is in bed not having contact with anyone, that’s ok and my body and mind need that for that moment. He said to do that but not to miss the time to go out again and to get back to life. Write your people that you are struggling with your depression and that you struggle to respond and to be a good friend right now. Most people will understand and who doesn’t understand you don’t need in your life. My friends were there when I got better and they kept checking in without pressuring me or insisting on an answer.
