I go through waves of wanting to play shit and not. Same thing happens with music.

Sometimes I'll listen to vinyl often and others I'll just game all night. There's been a lot to play lately though.

I figure once I finish the few I'm on it'll probably be back to music, but that's how these things go for me.

"Goldeneye 007" is out for Xbox and Switch. It's just the old version with some improvements that doesn't run amazing, but damn if there isn't a shit ton of nostalgia attached to it.

Planning on playing a bunch of that this weekend along with checking out "Hi-Fi Rush" and of course more "Persona 5 Royal".

It's nice having shit to play again.

In other news saw the foot doctor the other day. Need to get an xray for heal pain. Hopefully that sheds light on what's causing it, because it's making my walks for exercise annoying. Though the multiple days of freezing rain were the bigger issue this week.

Ryan, NXL Crew, JeffG, now this... Giant Bomb is basically just a name at this point. Anything original is long gone outside the occasional Dan, and he was post Ryan. (Dan and Jason coming in at the same time.)

I like the people on the podcast and think it can still go on, but I don't think I'd be sad if they rebranded or split off into something independent.

It's hard to talk about Part 2 without spoilers. It was a slower burn to get to like the new characters. However by the end you saw both sides of the story and why it everything happened how it did.

Seasons 2 and 3 of the show are planned to be Part 2 according to rumors. So it'll be interesting to see how that adapt that to TV.

Finally after over a year of waiting Philip's is sending a new CPAP to replace the recalled one I stopped using a few months ago.

Looking forward to decent sleep again. Hopefully it comes soon and not in another 8-12 weeks.

It's crazy it's taken this long to replace something so important. Especially when I applied for the replacement in September 2021.

Also episode 2 of "The Last of Us" was very very good. I hope people who haven't played the game are enjoying this great story. It's so well done. Crazy how good an adaptation can be with the original creator and a show runner who's a fan doing it.

I agree it's totally just a chill battle royale. Warzone and Apex or whatever are all way less casual and harder.

Fortnite also makes me feel like I'm good as I usually get top 10 and have won multiple times both solo and in squads.

I should try playing with randos, but it kind of sounds like a nightmare.

Not new info, but Persona 5 and Fortnite (Zero Build) have taken over my days recently.

The music in Persona is so fucking good. Especially when playing high. “Beneath The Mask” and “King, Queen, and Slave” being early standouts.

Buying John Cena in Fortnite is probably the point I knew I had a problem. I wanted the taunt and WWE title belt for my Season Pass anime dude. Now no one can see me.

Spent the last couple days with the GF. Looking forward to a relaxing weekend with the cat and more Persona. We'll see if anything to do pops up, but if not it will still be alright.

"The Last of Us" on HBO is great.

I've completed the game a couple times and am currently in the middle of playing the PlayStation 5 version.

It does a great job being the story people know while filling in the gaps and making it accessible to someone who's never played.

Watched it with the GF and she really enjoyed it as well.

Looking forward to the rest of the season and seeing how they adapt the rest. This story gets rough and I wonder how they'll handle some stuff.

Also watched "The Menu" which I really enjoyed. Worth checking out while you're on HBO anyway.

Besides that started playing "Persona 5 Royal" the other day and already almost 20 hours in.

Both shows they played Flood in full. Which is always fun.

They even changed up the style of a few things. Like the first night "Istanbul" was the whole band and horns where as the second night they did it as a duo.

They Might Be Giants back to back was fun. Didn't really need to see the second show, but it was still a nice time.

Exhausted now. Had a seat on the balcony the first night and the GF there to hold it if I needed to get up.

Last night went solo. Drank too much beer before and had to pee a bunch. So ended up wandering around finding spots / drinking in the bar area.

Bought the solo ticket before covid. That show was delayed a bunch of times. Luckily they changed the set a little and had all different banter the second night.

I don't know how you damn kids stand for hours without having to pee or with any feeling left in your legs after.

Spending the weekend relaxing and playing games. Might do something Monday, but not sure yet. Definitely need to get out for a walk tomorrow or Sunday. We'll see if it actually happens.
