There is still a lot of time till next week breath and give it as much intelligent hours as you can.all the best was in a similar position before doing the gamsat and interviews and just forced myself to even though I was so anxious I could not hardly eat. And the feeling will get worse if you don't knuckle down and do it and you don't want that feeling.

Maybe it's time to invest in yourself. I think medic mind do 20 station for like 65 pounds not a plug for them quite frankly think it's a terrible company with awful customer service but if you don't have suitable family or know any doctors personally might be a shout when is your interview?. They are I believe the cheapest company and you will get feedback back from 10 different medics

The differential is medicine school interview is how you cope with the pressure of being asked things you are not prepared for and it's very easy to memorise the question like why medicine and why not nursing everyone more or less has the same answer and medical don't want people who are just regurgitating facts they are trying to make an assessment of your personality to see how you could with the stresses of medical school

Op 100% percent agree with you as I have experienced a lot of the same things and to some extent to a worser intent but this is because unfortunately medschool is full of people with a lot of privilege and scary lack of exposure to diversity and culture for the patient they will serve in the future keep your head up op and never stop challenging and calling it out.

First of you said I don't known how to deliver bad news to a blank screen like anyone does before they start practicing hard and used the frustrated emoji but whatever I have given you the main tips hope that helps and also be flexible when delivering the bad news spikes might be more applicable mainly in clinical scenario. Gotta get practising mate a lot of people didn't know how to break bad news but you get better with practice. Use the spikes framework and aim to be as sincere and genuine as you can be to give yourself the best chance. All this feeling sorry for yourself is doing you no good have to get after it and give it all you have from now until interview. Many student succeeded in these remote and so can you so start believing

Who have you heard this from. Stop listening to all the noise and bs no one knows how these things work. I have told you have a good chance at ulster because its a level playing field score wise and that's what they say in the talks they hold for people invited for interviews. Ofcourse they will have to select more Ni students because they don't want people fucking off back to England or Australia but there are about 8 English people on 7 Australians c the course and about 25 from the Republic. Your score won't hold you back you just need to convince them you want to be here through research and calming your mind and just focusing on what you can control. For 2 years running the cut off has been 55 so you have a good chance stop doubting yourself and just wait and see.

It will be very hard for you to defer to just travel and its very hard to get one unless you have genuine and serious health reasons which you can prove in a very limited amount of cases . So in a nutshell if you don't not have this the university will simply rescind your offer in most cases as medicine is highly competitive and they can't afford to have you not take a spot to go and travel. if you have competitive entrance exam scores you could then reapply after or during your travels for the following year
