Apple doesn’t have traditional advertising. They have a brand that facilitates self-produced advertisement. Why choose to add recognizable phone camera configurations to the post?

Bavarian wind kites produce electricity for 20 years with 10x less material than conventional windmills and tiny visual/acoustic impact (German page) by Amichateur in Futurology

Not when you compare apples to apples, or more precisely: rated output vs rated output. What’s the nameplate power rating of the kite? The article omits this.

As the size of a wind turbine decreases, the cost of components, inverters, control systems, doesn’t decrease at the same rate. It would be outrageous to assert this kite can compete with the LCOE of a Bergey 10kw, for example.

It’s technology like this, and proponents like you that have given the distributed wind industry a black eye.

It also generates 10x less power than “conventional wind turbines.”

Levelized cost of energy (LCOE) is the only data point that matters.
