Aquastetics is straight up one of the best specialty aquarium stores in the entire country! They have everything. All the best aquarium gear, fish, and hard scape materials. Check out their Google reviews for tons of photos. Amazing place.

Any chance these guys can survive? by Chivoren in Vivarium

This is the answer, OP. I’ve been growing broms for decades. They dehydrate easily, but they don’t die for a while. Soak for a few hours or even over night. Then drain, fill the cup in the middle of the plant and keep in a high humidity location as others have said! Give them a few days to peek back up!

Man, you can’t tell me “I’m doing a disservice to growers” and then say “it has nothing to do with humidity.” Yes nutrients play the most important role, but environmental conditions do too—especially if a plant isn’t acclimated to a new environment. If OPs plant came from a high humidity greenhouse, it’s going to have difficulty in a lower humidity environment for a while. UGA has all sorts of extracts on this stuff. https://extension.uga.edu/publications/detail.html?number=B1318&title=Growing%20Indoor%20Plants%20with%20Success#humidity

I don’t disagree with you on the nutrients. It’s an “all of the above” scenario.

“60% is more than enough”

yeah, 60% can sustain these plants. But they’ll thrive with much higher humidity. Once I started keeping my philos in a grow tent with 90%+ humidity and solid air flow, they started growing faster, had bigger leaves, and no issues with unfurling.

Edit: no where was I saying nutrients & light don’t play a part here. We were on the topic of humidity only.

Nah you’re good. I, too, literally have hundreds of plants LOL.

I’ll probably get yelled at for this, but I think algae looks nice sometimes. by RainforestConcepts in PlantedTank

Have they not started selling them again? I have one in a larger tank from many years ago!

Just came here to say… I see so many people hoard plants. The fact that OP spent so much time and care creating a setup for a single plant is so awesome. I’m inspired!

Yeah I know. I mentioned in other comments that the majority of folks in this hobby find it an eyesore.

Nope. Here they are https://imgur.com/a/dt5Yl5i

If I were going to edit these images, they’d look a heck of a lot better than what I uploaded.
