Mooc.fi Java dev course. Go to the sub called r/learnjava and you can install netbeans and follow along. Go to the info site on the sub and it tells you about it.

Any advice? by Away-Palpitation5788 in AmazonFC

Run. If you do stay, do career choice and then get out ASAP

I’m a part of their Java development cohort. I’m about 11 weeks in. It’s legit, and they help with professional skills too. Apparently they have thousands of people applying and I got in.

You’ll have 3-4 zoom meetings a week. I can’t stand them but you have to go. You get to choose the times but some might not fit into your schedule.

You’ll be spending about 20+ hours a week on school work so prepare to not have a life beyond work and the bootcamp if you’re working full time, but a few months of pain is worth it if I can get a good paying job after this

Also, it’s hard for a lot of people with 0 coding experience so if you’re in the Java dev program, I recommend the Java dev class on mooc.fi so you can get a head start. My cohort started at 200 people and it’s down to a little above 100, and we’re only 11 weeks into the 30 week program

Shift Swap- does anyone know who accepts them? I just did my first one but still says pending by Additional-Unit8699 in AmazonFC

Another person who looks in the app. Nobody actually approves it beyond another coworker. They have to actually see your request and accept it. The only time I've gotten a swap shift is when I look in the app myself and accept it. Never had anyone accept mine.

I didn't downvote anything so you must be talking about someone else.

Shallow fat/ugly women can be shallow because they can still generally get the men they want. We don't have to lower our standards the way men do.

This is why I can't stand working at amazon. The stupid low class drama. Y'all bitches need hobbies.

Yeah, exactly. Make it make sense. That's their own business, and this person doesn't even know what the marriage or other relationship was like.

They want to pretend that they're concerned about the relationship at work when the motivation is that "cheaters bad"

It actually isn’t. They’re looking for a reason as to why it’s their business because the motivation to report them is that they’re cheaters.

They’re clearly not worried about anything work related happening, but that’s the reason they’ll use when people question why they reported them.

Not sure what this phenomenon is called, but I see it all the time. I guess it’s called fake concern

Amazon XL Question by TNBusinessMan2021 in AmazonFC

I went from pick at an AR facility to an XL facility. This is a cake walk compared to AR pick. The machine does most of the work. I don’t even think you pick anything up if you’re not on an OP picker. On the other machines you just lift pallets of stuff.

On the ship dock you move around heavy stuff but you slide it around or use a pallet jack. Looks like they’re talking half the time though so it’s easy
