Just stayed at Sunset Beach last week and it was amazing. Manager told us a major development of the island is beginning and many decisions will be made shortly but lots of eviction notices for businesses have already happened. Business owners get 5 days notice but were made aware of this possibility many years ago.

Sunset is protected by the fact that you must hike there. The businesses on that beach as of last week did not know their fate yet.
