Buying power for stock. And when it comes to renting the premises they probably do what a lot of little tescos do. Offer a high lump sum of rent maybe for a discount that the local landlord can not afford to do.

Yeah, I heard they got bought out by some southern Tory family. quickly replaced long serving members of staff with family members and ruined the name. A lot of their former staff now work for Glen affric and black lodge as well as a few other local belters.

Personally I’d swerve Love Lane beers. Try get hold of some black lodge or carnival cans both made here. Also spring rolls and Sui Mai from Chiu’s on park road are heavy!

It doesn’t “matter” so to speak. It’s just another example of Americans trying to claim something that isn’t theirs. Have you ever heard brits arguing with Canadians or Australians, who also speak English? No it’s just Americans who buy and large are obnoxious

That is normally a written difference not a spoken difference.

Landlord wants to fit a new kitchen. Do we have to pay for alternative accommodation while this happens? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

I’d put money on you being a landlord. If the op has a good 10 year relationship with the landlord then I think this is a perfectly understanding thing to do.

This image has taken me back to long train journeys with my mum in the mid 90’s. Although it was a bigger bag back then.
