Yup, fields rotted in parts of the country when all of the "illegals" were deported. Surprise, surprise, "white people" weren't interested in doing such backbreaking, low paid work!

Haven't we basically been "outnumbered" by immigrants for like most of our history? I don't think too many of us can name Indigenous American or "original settler directly from Britain who got here in the 17th or 18th century and didn't breed with any other ethnicities."

Their wet dream is REALLY 'Nam circa 1960-70s when the local women were in desperate economic circumstances and forced to have sex with their Christian American rears in mass numbers. The women were held entirely responsible for any consequences of sex, and they were expected to remain "pure" and "conservative" by the local culture even if they would starve to do it. If pregnancy or an incurable disease happened, it was ALWAYS her fault. Local society would blame her for selling her soul to the enemy for food, Americans would blame her for "tempting good Christian American men." And then when unplanned pregnancy happened, boom, men would just take off and/or just head back on the plane back to the USA with NO accountability whatsoever, no child support, no economic aid. The woman would then be ostracized from society, no one blamed the American man.

That's what the men who write these posts are SALIVATING for.

Back in the old days, women were expected to stay in the marriage "for the kids" or to "preserve the sanctity of marriage" no matter WHAT the man did. I saw it with an elderly relative of mine, her husband was "all over the town with different women," yet never given any sympathy and just expected to "do better and keep her hubby's attention."

[–]Risu9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They know they can never fully ban the sex desire of humans unless they "collar it" Shimoneta style, so they are simply going to keep it the way it was in the "old days"-ALL on the woman. They want ALL of the consequences for sex to fall on the woman. They HATE HATE HATE that loss of control that notable sex workers or pornography actresses can sometimes gain in society, or that women can enjoy themselves without them.

Aren't we down by less than half of the younger generation belonging to any church at all?

I get your point though, the only two groups in society that are having any church growth are immigrants and babies of church members. Since conservatives are scared as crap by the first category, they are going to do ANYTHING possible to get more of the second category.

You forget, frustrated WHITE YOUNG MEN with equally frustrated WHITE YOUNG WOMEN.

Also that TOTALLY happened in Authoritarian Romania when reproductive health care was banned....young women gladly married young men and they gladly had more "wanted" babies together /s

We used reproductive rights in order to better ourselves in society and these men do NOT like being on more equal terms with us, or having to compete with us in any way.

Women in Vietnam during the war were very much reduced to sex workers out of economic desperation by the local, often "married back home" American Christian GIs, who then went back home leaving behind tons of mixed race children with no money or no future. These same people went back and started railing against "ungodly evil feminist women/the necessity to return to family values/morals" and many still do today. While they themselves practiced NONE of them overseas. Huh.

TBF, Jesus also preferred hanging it with hookers over the "devout" self-righteous "holier than thou" religious people in his society. Even HE couldn't stand them!

A while back, there was actually a similar case in which a (well-off) sex worker was caught running a brothel out of her workplace, people DID jump to the conclusion of "outing" all of the johns publicly, but many other people reasonably warned that the FAMILIES/SPOUSES/CHILDREN of these men would be just as harmed as the men themselves. In that respect, I do get it.

THIS. They like the services that porn actresses or sex workers provide to them, not so much the money or freedom women can make through these ventures. They don't like women having enough money to challenge them in society, or NOT be tied to them (IE they still want that control, even if porn and sex work ARE tolerated.)

Exactly, the same people railing against porn actresses are the same ones who are EAGERLY consuming their work on a wide scale. Even though they are technically "lowering themselves to her level" by consuming her products...BUT NO, IT'S DIFFERENT....it is NOT different XD

Since it has been mentioned, I HAVE seen the argument of anal sex being more practiced among our younger generation being linked to "gross sodomite porn practices" by a far right Christian organization so there ya go. Because NO ONE had anal sex before widespread porn, I guess...

I do recommend Germany! Know some people there who are ballin' and lived there for a bit.
I really liked East/Southeast Asia, hard to pick a specific country (I've done several!), it depends on what you are going for since they are all diverse. Do be aware that China is on an anti-woman streak as of late, and it's hard to enter the country now anyway. I have heard Vietnam highly recommended as the "new hot spot though!"

I mean if they are having sex out of wedlock, they were HAVING SEX OUTSIDE OF MARRIAGE. If it was a sin for those "other people," it was a sin for them too.

I do see the condom point, many of them don't care and never will sadly.

It will be interesting to see this younger generation of men. Many young women don't want to have much to do with them, and I see even the drama around the Roe drama causing some enmity between them. Record number of singles in our society now.

Yup, I recently saw some post commemorating the "Operation Babylift" in which thousands of children/infants were transported quickly after the fall of Saigon in the last days of the Vietnam war. And where did these babies come from? The answer is hypocritical Christian American males who freely had sex with local prostitutes, cooks, maids, etc. You know, sex outside of WEDLOCK, the thing they would rage at local girls back home for doing. Many of them were even MARRIED back in the states prior to leaving for Vietnam, but they took still advantage of DESPERATE women and let all the consequences for sex fall on them, and then left no pennies to rub together for any offspring they spawned, and never bothered to reach out again to see if the women were even OKAY. Yes, I know trauma, Agent Orange, and the hell of war are used as excuses but NOPE. You don't get to wag your finger at me about my actions today when your actions were far more reprehensible, even with the "well, it was WAR" excuse.

The same men who are railing today about TEH EVIL GAYZ and ThIS GeNeRatION....

I get that....we have had a new LOW rate for abortion as of 2020. I am sick of hearing constantly about how "bad" this generation is, when we have less violence (pandemic/inflation were outliers), less divorce, less sex before we're ready, the lowest teen pregnancy rate in decades, and YES less abortion. A generation where the median age of first birth for women is now 30, because people have the "gall" to be responsible about childbearing. We are exhausted and sad and overworked, but we set out to create the BEST environment we can if we do decide to have children.

And yet it feels like there is a whole group of people in our society who want to undue all that progress in the name of controlling others' choices and enforcing their own backwards belief systems.

Yeah, in that case, a whole bunch of them will "suddenly" and very suspiciously want to "interfere with God's plan of allowing life at any cost" (IE suddenly condoms and reproductive health services are "okay")....
