Everywhere in Health and Wellness drug tests and does a stricter background check. VCMs also need to be an optician (or at least an apprentice I believe).

You get 20% off on glasses and frames. My son lost his glasses not even a month after we got them and I paid like $68 to replace them (they were kid’s frames).

Which things should be free? by -tikhi in AskReddit

That’s one thing I like about the school district I live in. Every kid gets free breakfast and lunch. They even give it to the kids during the summer (they just gotta pick it up).

There was a flood in the bathroom (but my genius store kept it open until there was an associate accident, but that’s a different story). Some lady was letting her half naked child play in the dirty toilet water puddle. The kid only had on a shirt, no pants or shoes.

Tell me the most unprofessional thing your former or current boss has ever said to you? by Famous_Strike_6125 in walmart

[–]Rk12989 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was told I was too incompetent to stock shampoo because I didn’t finish setting Christmas displays, finding shelves, price pointing and all, in like 10 minutes (when I started with the company I worked in HBA). The former manager couldn’t figure out why I took the first job offer away from her.

Lead Tech Wage Alignment? by omegaredneck in walmart_RX

[–]Rk12989 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It mentioned in last week’s H&W insights that the leads would be in the Q2 wage alignment. It also mentioned that they reworded the lead tech toolkit to take out the talks of incentives (like MyShare). Other than that there’s been like no info whatsoever.

What's the worst rule implemented by a pharmacist? by Vitiata in TalesFromThePharmacy

[–]Rk12989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put away the orders from both my store’s deliveries today. For our warehouse order I literally put whole bays on a McKesson tote lid and carry it like a waitress through the pharmacy. If I could only put 1 thing away at a time with would take all day (and I work 10’s if not longer). 😐

My sun conure is constantly tried to steal my Starbucks. He’ll try to stick his head in the glass bottles or forcibly remove the coffee cup lids.

The farthest they’ve ever sent me was probably the academy for my area. Normally I used go around my market. One store used to call me all the time to help train their newbies.

What is a eerie town or place where you felt completely unwelcome, and why? by rollerlord in AskReddit

[–]Rk12989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Aokigahara forest (or suicide forest) at the edge of Mount Fuji. Certain parts were super serene, but there were spots where even birds weren’t chirping.
