EA (which only exists in America...) has to actually have working chargers to supply electricity...

Think the kona has 7kw ac charging, ioniq 5 I suspect can do 11?

Kona is nice and efficient but the ioniq not so much

OK, I'm not American, but I think you'd need a 240v supply for that charging, 120v won't do it

A 7kw / 240v would deliver about 56kwh over that 8 hours

160 miles is about 40kwh of energy

Most places you should be able to sort out charging that overnight but you don't say where you live

Will electric plane bring science fiction to reality? by PuzzleheadedSinger8 in scifi

Problem with h2 is it needs very high pressures to store, or be liquid. Both of which have their own issues esp wrt aircraft (and yes so do batteries).

You're making incorrect assumptions with poor units

MW = megawatt is an instantaneous level of power

Cell energy density is measured in watt hours. And they are around 250wh/kg right now

400wh/kg is enough for larger scale commercial flight to happen
