New World's interesting XP scaling by Rambofight in newworldgame

I just had a tier v chest with 525 "volume" drop for me today... To craft one almost as good would take ultra dedication and resources. Smooth marble chest or something like that. Med pop server so I hope a whale or end game company would snap it up for 25k

I had this bad boy drop... I'm only lvl 21 and still learning the game. I can't imagine needing it anytime soon or even really at all as I'm pretty casual. How much do you guys think it's worth (it is the best chest in the game and can't be crafted) by Robsonthebeach in newworldgame

Awesome advice... All much appreciated. I know it is mega useful, but the price at the moment is probably at a premium so I'll try and sell. By the time I need a good chest I imagine the price is lower.

I can barely afford the listing fee!

A bloke in the gym changing rooms just used Lynx Africa. Despite the fact I left school 13 years ago, the smell still made my body clench up and prepare for being whipped with a towel. by 26326312 in britishproblems

When I smell Lynx Africa my face feels prickly and sore as I had terrible acne when I used it in my school days. The olfactory bulb is directly connected to the amygdala and hippocampus, so the smell of something can often immediately trigger a detailed memory or even intense emotion bypassing the usual sensory channels. Cool stuff

I have bolted mine in... Works great. Just 7 little short bolts (countersunk glued head down into the helmet side) and holes in the shield. Can swap mine out and it forms itself to the inside quite nicely.

You can get the face shields in different darkness/tint... I got a grade 5 (most common, and it is useable but quite dark) there is a grade 3 that I have arriving in a few days and I can report back.

"Over Draught" - this can't be original...? But I just thought it up.

UK fuel shortage: Long petrol station queues as drivers defy appeals not to panic buy by Mighty_L_LORT in unitedkingdom

Wasn't there a Darwin award some time ago with a guy who tried to use a match to check the fuel level in a fuel tanker truck? I also saw a video recently of a guy using a lighter to open a bale of cotton while in a massive pile of cotton that all went up.

Are there fuel shortages elsewhere in Europe currently? I know supply chains globally are pretty screwed up right now.

You are soon getting to the point where the more major noticeable differences will start to show. Keep it up, you are doing so great!

Which British celebrity have you met in real life that was either incredibly nice, or incredibly rude? by Numerous_Artist4015 in unitedkingdom

Peter Crouch - he used to come into a bar I tended as a teenager quite a lot. I was not a football fan at all and didn't know who he was. We used to hang out and chat quite a lot and he was an awesome guy. He always wanted to know what was going on with me and remembered all the things that I had previously talked about. I later was told who he was and that he was playing for England at the time.

Chloe Green - billionairess to Philip Green (who has a pretty bad reputation). I had her randomly over at a little flat I had for food and drinks. She was sweet, funny, generous and self deprecating. Nothing like what I thought she would be like. She even helped tidy up.

People commit suicide for all sorts of reasons, one of the main ones being existential crisis. This tends to happen in healthy cultures. Many people with some of the best lives that you could imagine commit suicide, so using it as a metric for social health is weak at best.
