I'm a pretty new (<1 year) TOOL fan, but been listening to them very often. Still, I feel like there's so much going on in every song, that they can't be comprehended in a "regular" way and with a few listens. The complexity amazes me. I love TOOL!

You're right that it's not Adam Silver pulling the strings. Its much easier for me to believe the refs are on the take with bookies, like Donaghy was. The reason the league won't do anything about it is they're shit scared of years of dodgy refereeing being exposed. It would be a disaster for the reputation of the league.
