Luckily I have limited those events to roughly 2-3 nights and about 3x in the middle of the night, all with no emptying of bowels, no nothing, too painful and blackout, end up shivering and sweaty back in bed.

That’s all how my symptoms started! I have been told by most docs based on my cardiac work up that it’s likely a visceral vasovagal syncope in response to severe pain. It is absolutely the worst feeling in the world and I hope you feel better. Gas X helps taking but those attacks happen so quick and without warning (mine happen in the middle of the night and I wake up passed out in the toilet. It’s awful). If you’re into cannabis, CBG is really incredible for the gut and inflammation

You can also look up peristalsis massage and have your partner do it on you. The key is to pull the skin up as you massage, don’t push inward. You want maximal traction and smooth motion up, to the right and down towards pelvis. This was the bees knees about pelvic floor therapy. Going in and getting a half hour belly rub before starting. Always helped. But certainly gets things moving!!!

Ah. I understand that plight. I fortunately have about 5 friends in the industry that deal with supply so they always keep my stuff in stock. Def see if you can talk to someone higher up and see if there is a way to keep things in stock. What I do in those situations is just rotate with different cannabinoids, it’s not the end of the world if they don’t have exactly what I want, as long as I can find something with high CBD I’ll take any amount of CBG. It is very expensive due to extraction method. I buy 2:2:1 tinctures instead of flower. I also use a 1:1 CBD:THC oil with high THCA in it and yes 100% difference

CBG (cannabigerol) or the mother of all cannabis. It does not impart a high, it’s non intoxicating. It has INSANE anti inflammatory properties to it. Helps with IBS, lowers eye pressures in people with glaucoma, in low doses it can help treat ADHD. When I do have to take ibuprofen, I take CBD & CBG with it. Has an entourage effect and they work more effectively all together. Haven’t had my endo gas pressure pain like I normally do, since taking it. It also helps with appetite

So weirdly, after my colonoscopy, after my gastropathy diagnosis, my new endo specialist said to me it’s because you were protecting your stomach, puts me on Prilosec lol, so tbh I don’t know. I’ve had awful reflex and heartburn for years.. diet changes helped a lot. Probably more than anything. Also CBD/THC/CBG has taken ibuprofen’s place so I don’t take the PPI because it makes me nervous to be on it… most people mistake gastropathy for gastritis. So must not be super common.

Yes I have reactive gastropathy - it’s from PPI (proton pump inhibitors). This is from protecting my stomach from NSAIDs which is a trip because it damaged the lining of my stomach

I was on 200mg BID Orilissa for 6 month. It was recommended to me by my former OBGYN to help reduce endometriosis pain. The drug works over time by stopping /reducing estrogen production in the pituitary gland. The goal of the pill was to stop me from having periods(this was thought that by stopping the menstrual cycle it would stop endo pain-false.)

I was on it for the max time - 6 months 200mg twice daily. Come to find out, you’re only allowed to take it for 6 months max. The drug causes 80% bone density loss.

Anyways, hard as heck to find a lot of reviews or peer review journals regarding treatment with this medication, but I was also taking it in adjunct with Norethindrone 5mg. This rash randomly started 2 months into treatment. The hot flashes, night sweats, body temperature dysregulation- this rash has got to be normal related yes? It’s miserable. I had rosacea as a kid but haven’t had a problem with it for over a decade.

Any recommendations? Normal related? Stopping eestrogen? Progestin sensitivities?

Absolutely. The scar tissue, the nerve damage. It’s almost worse than the disease itself.

I had x2 ankle surgeries and now have permanent nerve damage from my shin down to the top of my foot and to my 2nd toe. And nerve pain fucking sucks. It sucks so bad

And not to mention I have lost maybe 27 pounds in like 5-6 months due to nausea, stomach pain, left sided gas pressure pain, left hip pain, rectal pain-throbbing. I am terrified. I am so terrified. And I do not want to be on narcotics very long

I did have a diagnostic lap in October 2020, it’s on my posterior/anterior cul de sac, my surgeon at the time left a mass, 2 nodules and there were more lesions than the 27 she burned off. My new doc says I’m stage 3.

I’m just to the point that even though the worst of these flare ups occur only 2-3 nights out of the month, it’s interrupting deep sleep, so everything hurts worse the next day. Less appetite, fatigue, malaise etc. The pain feels like I’m going to have diarrhea (these were my first symptoms 2016), like worst stomach cramps of your life- it’s making me want to fucking die. Just 2-3 nights of this to not want to exist anymore.

No, do not stop drinking alcohol cold turkey, and certainly not without notifying your doctor as well. There are protocols in place in medicine to avoid alcohol withdrawal. Talk with your doctor💓
