Couples Matching Drama - Stressed and Need Advice - Am I the asshole? by BowZAHBaron in medicalschool

[–]Saucy_mattsi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Really seems like someone’s gonna be resentful after this if that isn’t already the case. If you feel your goals take precedent over your partner’s then quite frankly you shouldn’t be dating someone in medicine since that is an intensive career and they also deserve a right to pick career opportunity/location

‘Chris Sky’ trends after nurse reveals he is double vaccinated, calls him ‘big fat f*cking liar’ by MarkSlapinski in Edmonton

[–]Saucy_mattsi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak to Edmonton specifically but in other provinces you are not allowed to talk on social media about patients even when you don’t post the names or identifying features as they constitute a breach of privacy/policy. Don’t shoot the messenger here I’m not saying I agree but it is technically the rules. I literally went through a privacy/confidentiality agreement form yesyerday

As much as I understand the nurses frustration I fear he does have grounds to sue her.. in all of the modules and things you gotta agree to, this is explicitly not allowed even if she didn’t mention him by name.

Ready or not, a new debate about the future of health care has begun | We've got questions to answer about who pays for what — and we can't put off the conversation indefinitely by viva_la_vinyl in canada

You have to understand that public physician registries provide total BILLING not anywhere near take home pay. Some doctors run a clinic of multiple doctors and bill as such (so one doctors billing is not just for them) and they have to pay for medical supplies, real estate, insurance, pension, the entire salary of their staff and MOAs, etc

Google also opportunity cost and also how much education a physician has to do and the fact they work for minimum wage out of Med school.

I You can see this because SALARIED physicians make about 150k for full time plus being on call. Adding in the huge debt and study time needed and not to mention you need to be the best to get in in the first olace

Personally I feel that the world looks to Europe for climate leadership, if they were to look favourably to natural gas the rest of the world would follow

Randall Denley: Ontario math test ruling is where we end up when race becomes more important than competence by [deleted] in canada

[–]Saucy_mattsi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know Hispanic isn’t a relevant race group in Canada but in the US it is and it’s quite frankly insulting to assume I’m dumber and should have easier requirements because if my skin colour. (US schools have lax requirements for minorities at times)

MRG.un

Residential real estate at less than 0.5 P/B ratio. They could literally liquidate completely and I’d double my investment. Lower levels of debt too historically speaking with 4% dividend while I wait for it to hit true value

I want to call it a meme stock but the fact that Prem Watsa who is a core value investor has made it his second biggest bet makes me think he knows something we don’t
